Built in 2020, this dreamy, spacious, and relaxing bay-side getaway has amazing views of both the Gulf of Mexico and Galveston Bay. Guests will have access to the exclusive Pointe West Community Beach Club, with grills, cabanas, a fitness gym, and two beautiful pools. The infinity pool faces the Gulf and is a short walk from the beach, and the lazy-river style pool is next to the bay (just down the street from your home away from home).

The space
Your vacation home features double Jenn Air ovens, gas cooktop, quality cooking equipment and an outdoor gas grill. Most of the lighting is dimmable for a truly relaxing environment.
The top floor master bedroom (king bed) has a private balcony with an amazing view of Galveston Bay and a charming pond. Also on the top floor are two guest bedrooms. The first has a queen bed, TV and Gulf view and the third bedroom on the top floor has a bunk bed and TV just for the kids.
Your quiet place for reading and journal entries is a study with a writing desk next to large windows and views of the dunes and Gulf. Just outside the study is a balcony with comfortable seating and teak furniture.
The main floor greets you as you enter the home with a spacious kitchen which is open to the dining and living areas. A large balcony on the opposite side of the living area offers relaxing chaise lounges with a mellow view of our pond and Galveston Bay beyond. Don't be surprised if a beautiful pink Spoonbill flies by! Also off the living area is another guest bedroom (queen) with its own view of the bay.
All rooms are shades of tranquil blue, gray, and white, just like our Galveston environment.
We've recently added a wooden dining table on the back patio for casual dining by the pond.

We are proud to provide linens that have been washed, ironed, and folded at a large commercial service that applies to our linens the same standards as high end hotels, including high temperature sanitization.

As of April, 2021, we are excited to announce the addition of REME Halo air sanitization in both HVAC systems! These devices eliminate odors, particulates, VOC's, mold, bacteria, and viruses, not only in the air ducts, but inside the whole home!

We are located in the Pointe West resort on the last 3-1/2 miles of Galveston Island's west end at San Luis Pass near Texas' Bluewater Highway. Depending on which way you are coming in you may choose to take I-45 to the 61st street exit to the Seawall and turn right (we are 30 minutes from 61st street); or take HW 288 through Lake Jackson to the Surfside exit to the San Luis Bridge ($2.00 toll). Either way is approximately 1.5 hours from downtown Houston.

There are several boardwalks to access the Pointe West exclusive beach, which is wide and uncrowded. The community is truly "away from it all", but there are excellent grocery stores on the way to us that will allow you to stock up for your stay. There are several good restaurants within a 15 minute drive, and a variety of dining in the city of Galveston, 30 minutes drive.
This part of Galveston Island is a nature lovers dream. A variety of birds migrate through or fly in spectacular formation across the bay. Kelly Hamby nature trail is nearby, and broad dunes are there for your hiking pleasure.
