We have spent the last ten years turning a neglected farm into an Events Centre with space for hire and have hosted many different events over the years, from yoga retreats to winter markets. The place is called Leepswood and has 5 different buildings in 10,000 sqm of landscaped garden and woods. We live and work as freelance artists/designers on our farm with 3 children, 15 chickens and a dog called Django.

The space
We rent out two double bedrooms which are located in our detached 'little house'. The guest kitchen, bathroom, toilets and lounge/breakfast room are located on the ground floor of the main house, which is approx 30m from the little house. All the facilities in the main house are centrally heated but the bedroom is only heated by a wood burning stove. There is Wifi in the kitchen, lounge and terrace area but not in the little house.
Guests have access to a beautiful garden, private wood, large lounge with TV and a large barn with table tennis. We can also offer bikes for rent.

Guest access
You can park directly in front of the little house, there are no shops in Weißenbach but Wirsberg and Neuenmarkt have various Supermarkets and Bakeries as well as Butchers and Pharmacies.

Other things to note
There is a Buddhist Monastry in walking distance ((URL HIDDEN)), a beautiful public swimming pool in Wirsberg, many walking/ cycling routes and a train Museum nearby.

Where I went to school: in Germany
My work: I work from home
I am a professional designer, artist and mother of three vigorous boys! After 20 years working overseas I returned to my homeland to develop (together with my husband) a Design Business and Creative Events Centre called Leepswood, offering accommodation, event spaces for hire and a wide range of creative events from yoga retreats to winter markets. We live in the centre of a small (about 35 houses) agricultural farming village with no through road, so the place is tranquil, safe and has direct access to lovely walking routes. We welcome guests to share this beautiful place, which we have spent ten years restoring and developing. We have a working artists studio with pottery wheel etc for those that are interested, plenty of landscaped garden and a table tennis table in the main barn. There's also a buddhist monastery called Waldkloster Muttodaya, just 20 mins walk through the woods from our house where visitors can participate in the daily evening meditation sessions.
