We enjoyed a great weekend at Jonathan and Tienneke's place with our parents while celebrating a friend's wedding. The apartment was welcoming, clean and comfortable, and as hosts, they were easy to communicate with every step of the way. The space is well-maintained and in a fantastic location (subways, restaurants, shops, all walkable) for a busy weekend get-away to Brooklyn. Though the bedrooms both face the street, it was relatively quiet and we had great nights of sleep followed by mornings lounging in the comfy living room eating bagels from around the block. We'll absolutely be looking to stay here again, and recommend you consider it too!

Thank you for opening your home to us. It was a great area to be in and close by to everything (restaurants, bars, convenient stores). We had a wonderful stay!

My family & I stayed at Jonathan & Tienneke's place on a recent trip to Brooklyn, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Their place was very clean & cozy, and our two kiddos, who normally are a bit unsettled sleeping in a new place didn't complain once Their apartment is in a great location - we chose it because it's only a short walk from our family we were in town to visit, but it has so many other advantages - convenient to the subway, a block or two from our new favorite bagel place , and we found street parking almost directly in front of their building. The only thing that made our stay a bit uncomfortable was that it was pretty hot (80's & 90's) during the time we were there, and the air conditioning didn't cool off the apartment to a comfortable temperature for us. But we Amazon-Nowed a $15 fan to blow the cool air back into the bedrooms and it worked great. Don't hesitate to stay at their place, especially if you have young children. All our 3 1/2 year old kept saying was, "The kids that live here have really cool toys, Mommy!" Of course, we have a lot of those same toys at home, but so it goes with a little one.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very conveniently located for our family - it's a great neighbourhood, with a playground down the block, plenty of food options nearby, and the subway just a couple of minutes' walk away. The apartment was well-equipped, and Jonathan and Tienneke were flexible and very good about keeping us informed.

Originally from Belgium, we moved in 2011 to Brooklyn, my wife Tienneke and son Arthur, for professional reasons. We love to visit Manhattan and Brookyn, well everything that the City has to offer us, and that is plenty!! Our hobbies are travelling around the world, music (concerts) and movies. Our baby girl Charlotte joined our family early 2014 adding an extra bunch of activity and fun to our lives!
