  • The apartment was just perfect for us! It was totally stocked with everything we might need and even though we didn't use much of it, it was nice to know it was there - just in case! The location worked really well for us, seeing as we rented our bikes from a shop right across the street (Bikify is the name of the shop). Groceries were close by, as were restaurants. It was really easy to get there on the Metro from the airport. We did laundry and ate most of our meals at the apartment. We actually spent all of our evenings 'at home' because it was so comfortable.

The meet and greet went well. Julie is a really pleasant person and most willing to make life easier for us by giving us tips on shopping for groceries, metro info - all the kinds of things a person needs to know. I would definitely recommend this for 2 or 4 people.
The apartment was great! A nice respite from the busier city centre. We totally recommend it.

  • The apartment is well positioned, close to the city centre (10 minutes by bike) and in a quiet area. Very nicely decorated, stylish and colourful. Very well furnished in the kitchen, tools and equipment. The two bedrooms are regular size, the second with a smaller bed. The living room is quite large, a lot of light coming from many windows and a table in the middle. Apple technology is abundant, Apple TV was a pleasant surprise.
One bathroom but ample, with a big shower corner. Very quiet at night.
Smed has been very kind to answer all our questions and wait for us till late on arrival as our flight landed late.
The whole experience was very positive and the entire family (2 daughters age 16 and 19) was very happy about this solution instead of the classic hotel room.

  • As a wheelchair user, it's not easy to find an appartment that is fully accessible, especially in a city. But Søren's was just perfect! Lots of space, even in the bathroom!
The city of Copenhagen is great for wheelchair users. Even the subway is 100% accessible.
It's a pleasure to explore the city if you can get around so easy.

Thank you Søren for your hospitality!

I'm a talkative, pleasant, easy going, and well traveled person. With work and together with my wife, I, and we, have traveled the globe and met many interesting cultures and personalities. When traveling we enjoy diving, trekking, golfing and have a passion for gourmet foods and finding unspoiled (or as close to) spaces around the world giving us unique experiences. From the altiplano of Bolivia, over the jungles and Mayan temples of Guatemala to the Malayasian junlge of Borno, we enjoy filling up our minds with memories. Locally we take all of Copenhagen in. We go to the Opera, Royal Danish Ballet, concerts and have had plentiful experiences in the fantastic Danish restaurant scene. In the Winter time we skate on the frozen Copenhagen lakes and in the summer we read and enjoys days on the wonderful Amager Beach. Five things I would miss if I lost them would be my wife, my voice, a camera and my blog. I live by the mottos "you get the life you prioritize" and "it's your your aptitude, but your attitude, that determines your altitude".
