The Hawkesbury River Hide Out is located at Bar Point and is accessible by boat only. There are NO ROADS and NO CARS at Bar Point with the shack set in native bush land only 50 metres back from the Hawkesbury River. You can catch a water taxi over, bring or hire your own boat from Brooklyn and tie up at our jetty. Spend the weekend fishing off the jetty, canoeing on the river, eating oysters and escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Bar Point is surrounded by national park and of course sits on the river and is breaming with native flora and fauna. There are no roads and no cars. It really is hard to believe that we are only an hour north of Sydney.
