The listing was as expected, however Ken informed me of an unsettling situation with his neighbor that left me feeling uncomfortable to stay in the home. Based on this conversation, I chose to cancel my stay.

Response from Ken:
Yes, the neighbor is the son of an elder lady (his Mom) who was slowing down with frequent hospital visits. Problem is, he has a personality much like the liberal media--whom both Trump and Carlson criticized for twisting words around, no doubt in an attempt to report to the public a very different meaning than what the responses were intended to mean. This is Rene--someone who attempts to present himself to unwitting Airbnb guests in such a way that they assume he is a home owner and a well established professional. He presents himself with the look and feel.... Actually, there's very little there, especially when he seldom responds to questions about what he does for a living. He's on social security for medical reasons, and he's attempting to help in creating a movie--without the skills to do so. I only got my masters in this area. But I think that's more than enough to assess his skill level as he has talked with a lot of people and has gotten to know how various people react to fear and criticism. Unfortunately, any narrator/screen writer will amply testify just how inappropriate such measures would be to the creation of a credible film of any kind. This is someone who doesn't even know a thing about plot, theme, or reverse engineering as they fit in to the creative process. I guarantee it. So, while his speaking to guests is allowed by our freedom of speech, I have highly recommended our guests keep their direction (itinerary) and maintain their bearing with a polite but distant hand wave or something. For the short-term period they are here, this maintenance of social distance is more than enough to guard them from criticism, if they may worry on this effect. Anyway, he has intervened further in technically illegal acts. So, I filed a restraining order to keep him from hanging about the property as well as confronting guests coming to and going away from the property. My apologies for the wordiness, but this whole subject area seems to have gotten out of hand and deserves a more detailed explanation.
