Lois and Paul were fantastic hosts and their eco home is fabulous. Located in a residential area, right by the park, it was great for the kids and magical for any other person that loves green like we do. They are both very involved with their community and although they had a full day with the May fair check-in went smoothly. Although we had all the information we needed to self check-in, Lois was still attentive and managed to meet us at the gate as we arrived. Paradise for out two kids, with lots of toys in the house and easy for us as parents with all the amenities. Also tons of goodies in the fridge provided by Lois. Highly recommend the SS Great Britain museum, very well done for all ages. When coming back to Bristol we would not consider anywhere else. Highly recommend the eco house.

We loved hosting you all too. Good to hear that the SS Great Britain visit was a success. I forgot to ask! Cheers Lois

Quirky place, good spot for a get together, especially if you have kids with you as there is a park and playpark on your doorstep! Bit of a hike out of town, but doable.

Response from Lois:
We don't think you found the No.9 bus which takes you to the centre and Temple Meads. It stops at the end of the park on Redland Road. We are actually a mile from the top of Park Street. Glad you had fun anyway!

What a little gem this place is. Only a short drive into the city centre but the location in the middle of a park is tranquil and feels like you are in a rural location. The property is well appointed and comfortable with all of the amenities you need. Helpful friendly host in Lois - great location - fabulous quirky home. The biggest recommendation I can give is that we WILL return to stay again. You won't be disappointed.

Hi, my husband and I have lived in Bristol for 35 years and are able to advise on local facilities and recommend places of interest for you to visit. We are widely travelled and have an appreciation of home from home comforts. We have brought up our two children here while working and renovating this idyllic retreat. We welcome you to join us in this unusual sylvan setting and welcome suggestions to make your stay even more comfortable.
