The space
The interior of the home offers a relaxed yet fresh take on traditional coastal design, while still being fun and family-friendly. Vibrant colors are balanced by classic neutrals that create an inviting space both inside and out. This 5-bedroom, 4.5-bath home sleeps 12 guests and has a private, in-ground pool complete with outdoor shower- making it the perfect place to relax with family and friends.
On the 1st floor, you will find the light-filled great room with vaulted ceiling and an open floor plan overlooking the water. The well-equipped, spacious and beautifully designed kitchen has top of the line appliances, quartz countertops, brass fixtures, and an island that seats 5. Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining area has seating for 8 and opens up to the expansive wrap-around porch, which includes both a screened section and an open/unscreened section with a grill. The screened porch area accommodates dining for 6 and also has an additional seating area with a sofa and twin rocking chairs. The uncovered deck section features a grill as well as lounge chairs for catching rays and a circular table with seating for four, perfect for mid-afternoon lunches al fresco. Designed with several inviting lounge areas, the porch is ideal for morning coffee, sunset hors d’ oeuvres, grilling, family dinners, and more.
The main living space offers seating for 10 or more and has a 65-inch flat-screen smart TV with a soundbar, a modern gas fireplace and a well-equipped mini-bar. A spacious laundry room with a GE stackable washer and dryer is located just off the family room and also offers stairway access down to the pool. The custom pool which can be heated in the winter makes this a luxurious year-round retreat when you don’t feel like making the short (less than ¼ - mile) walk or drive to the lovely and quiet beach access at 9th Street West.
On the 1st floor, you will also find dual master bedrooms, each with a king bed and a dedicated and luxuriously appointed en-suite bathroom with dual sinks. The front porch features a bench seat and a single hanging chair, perfect for curling up with a book or for taking in the quiet views off the front of the house. A stylishly decorated ½-bath powder room located near the entry foyer rounds out the functionality of the 1st floor.
An additional master bedroom, kids’ bunk-room, entertainment loft/lounge area, and an office/extra bedroom can be found on the 2nd floor. The 2nd floor king guest room has a Juliet balcony overlooking the marsh providing a lovely perch from which to enjoy your morning coffee. This room shares a full bathroom with the office that also has a queen pullout sofa. The custom bunk-room has three built-in twin beds and one built-in full bed and shares a Jack-and-Jill bathroom (with dual sinks and a tub for bathing the little ones) with the loft area. - Elevator use- Please contact us at least 48 hours prior to arrival for approval and to receive the required paperwork. Elevator access only available for guest use in the event of injury or special needs.
- Pool heating requests should be submitted at least 48 hours prior to arrival. Please note that if the outside temperature is less than 60 degrees, the pool will not heat. Pool heating fees are $25 a day
- guests are responsible for any/all pool related expenses such as, but limited to: pool heating, draining, cleanings outside of regular monthly service, etc

All guests staying with Stay Duvet have been granted access to The Wonderer Charleston for a fee.

For visits between April 15th - September 1st, we strongly recommend booking in advance to ensure access. Groups of 8 or more guests are strongly encouraged to book a cabana in advance to ensure an ultimate, premium experience poolside

Other things to note
*Please note- this is a residential area. We want all of our guests to have a great time, but please note that excessive noise or amplified music is not tolerated at this property per Folly Beach ordinance.
*Pet fee: Our home is pet friendly. We have a $200 per pet fee. We limit to 2 dogs in the home and we have a very strict no cat policy. Only dogs are allowed at the home. Please be sure to add the dog to your guest count when booking and reach out for permission to bring the second dog before booking.
*We provide starting supply for coffee, toiletries, trash bags, tide pods, and dishwasher pods. There is a nearby convenience store if you need to pick up more during your stay.
*If the property includes a washer and dryer, we kindly ask that you use them to refresh your towels during your stay. While you don’t need to wash towels or linens at checkout, please note that we have a limited supply and may not be able to provide extras unless the home lacks a laundry room.
*Crib and high chair available for an ADDITIONAL RENTAL FEE and must be ordered 48 hours in advance in order to guarantee it is in the home prior to guest arrival*
*Evacuation Policy: Get a full refund within 72 hours in case of a MANDATORY evacuation in Charleston County
