About this listing
Really cozy and typical bolognese 50 sm studio. The studio is an old winery fully renovated a couple of years ago, the stonework and the ancient well inside the studio create a unique and genuine atmosphere. The studio is fully air-conditioned, equipped with WI FI lan. The semi-professional kitchen is perfect if you want to learn/ improve your italian cooking skills. There is a regular double bed and a big ash wood table. The studio could include also a private car park (+ 20 euro per 24 hours, can pay when you check in: to be requested in advance).
Best choice for a really bolognese experience, ideal for couples and real travellers!
Location - The studio is right in the historic centre and really close ( 30 seconds by walk) to Giardini Margherita, the most important park of the city.
SUGGESTION / Our Tavernetta is not advised for people affected by breathing problems (ex. Asthma): the reason is that our Tavernetta is a unique and very particular location since there is a ancient well and genuine stonework.
To go to the basement there are 8 steps, so for those with reduced mobility it is not ideal.
NEW / Exclusive homemade restaurant service / Real Cucina Italiana on demand.

Muy bien. Sergio fue muy amable y siempre atendió a nuestras consultas. Nos dio mucha información y nos ayudó hasta el último momento cuando partimos de Bologna. El departamento está cerca de todo y en una zona bastante tranquila.
The host met us on arrival. Given that our flight was late and we didn't get in until 11pm this was very kind.
If you are going to Bologna to experience history or culture this is your place. The flat is a mini archeology lesson. In the floor under a glass panel in part of the old Roman foundation. The wall and ceiling are a vaulted arch - some of it Roman, some of it Medieval. It is compact but nicely laid out. For a history geek like me - really dug it. The sort of authentic experience you just dont get at the Hilton.
The best part of it is that in the week in July that we stayed there where temperatures hit 100 coming back to a cool basement ( the place is well lit btw ) was ....priceless.
You enter the flat via a private, locked courtyard where we were greeted by a couple of the super friendly residents cats on arrival and departure.
I really like this place and look forward to staying here next time I'm in Bologna.
Quiet, safe apartment in a good location to the many wonderful things Bologna has to offer. Amazing pastry/coffee shop across the street...one of the BEST gelato shops is five minutes down the road...beautiful park and market around the corner. Easy to find and we had great help/assistance from the renters. Everything that you want in a rental location. Would stay here again if we are lucky enough to come back! Bologna is the perfect "big-little city," loved it!!
Carlos studio is a cool and unique space, 10 minutes walk from the central Piazza. Well air conditioned, bigger than it looks in the photos. Highly recommended for a city break in Bologna. Sergio met us at the studio and was very helpful and welcoming. They were flexible on check in time as well which was very helpful.
Carlo's place was nice and very interesting to stay at. The place had great interior including a functioning well! Check in and out times were flexible and on our first day Carlo's dad gave a quick orientation of the city and recommended a few places to eat at. One of the places he recommended was very good!! The apartment is completely detached so there is privacy. We had a great stay however as expected with a basement apartment with a functioning well there is a musty smell.
Carlos place is an amazing base for bologna. We spent a lot of time exploring but it was always a great comfortable (and cool) place to come back to. Good supplies and comfy surroundings. Carlos friend Sergio was very helpful and we were grateful for the local tips. Thank you both!
Everything worked out very good. Although we were a little bit too late, a friend of Carlo's opened the apartment and explained everything thouroughly.
The apartment ist cosy, clean and very well equipped. You have to know that the appartment is in the cellar - therefore there is no window.
The apartment is very close to the sites, it takes half an hour to walk to the central station. We really recommend the pasticcheria across the street. Great for breakfast.
