  • A lovely stay at a lovely property in a lovely location.

The accommodation is spacious and very well equipped and furnished. In addition, not being in the main house helps maintain a sense of privacy.

As well as providing wonderful home-made preserves for breakfast, Sally (email hidden) and knowledgeable about the local area.

The village is very picturesque and the local pub, the Salutation, gave us a good night out with excellent food.

    Thoroughly recommended.

  • I stayed at Sally's garden studio on two different occasions and from the first moment I was so comfortable and felt very welcomed .
Thank you Sally, for both the delicious home made jam and the clean beautiful room. It was your kindness that made my stay in Grimsby very special. We will definitely recommend you as the best host.

  • Really lovely studio - lovely views over garden. Gorgeous Raspberry jam left for us and everything in the accommodation is good quality and comfortable.

  • I stayed here for four nights at this lovely studio flat, which is set apart from the main house. I particularly enjoyed my stay here because the studio affords privacy, comfort and it is quiet. Sally is an excellent host - she's friendly and genuine, and gave me some good recommendations for pubs in the area. There was a good selection of drinks, bread, milk etc so you don't need to go and find the nearest corner shop! One thing to note: internet access in the studio is only via ethernet, not wifi, so if you need internet access there, make sure you have a router/laptop with ethernet.

  • Idyllic surrounds (email hidden). Raspberry jam as necer experienced, and numerous other treats to make this the best airbnb we've had.
Bed very comfortable, space to be relished, all creature comforts.
Garden that is an exceptional herbaceous garden, that sally is willing to share - peonies a specialty.
The Wolds are truly beautiful. We were grateful for sally's tips re craft fair, places to eat, and walks for varied fitness levels. We enjoyed 'Public Footpaths' and i was certain i'd seen Miss Marple.
We appreciated sally's openness to diverse lifestyles as a same sex couple.
    We plan to return

About
Hello, Thank you for looking at my studio apartment in the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds! A little about myself- my main hobbies are looking after my garden (a full time job!) and walking and exploring the great outdoors. Many walking routes start from the house and I'd be happy to show you what's on offer in the local area. I have 2 daughters who live in London so spend some time with them at weekends but love to retreat to the peaceful lifestyle in Nettleton! I enjoy home cooked food and make some preserves from garden produce. I also like blue china - there are some interesting antique shops in the locality- and blue cheese is another favourite! I also like pastel drawing and creative hobbies. Do get in touch if you're considering a visit! Best wishes, Sally.
