Our family of 3 adults and 2 young children stayed in this wonderful, spacious, clean, and well-equipped apartment for almost a month.
The apartment is in a great location, just steps (and there are lots of steps in Lanciano!) away from the market and main area of the old city. We really enjoyed the market and being close to the community center.
Giuseppina, Philip & their daughters are delightful and wonderful hosts. They were exceedingly generous with their hospitality and provided lots of interesting information about Lanciano and the surrounding area. They responded very quickly when we had some issues with the hot water, as well as with anything else that we needed.
I would definitely recommend a stay here if you would like to be part of a small and historic community. Giuseppina will delight you with here stories and interesting facts about Lanciano. :)
Hi I am Giuseppina, and live a wounderful Medioeval town of Lanciano where with my family we enjoy welcoming people from all over the world to show and make them taste the traditional Italy with a modern twist. My fresh pasta..."Tagliatelle di Mamma GIUSY" is famous all over and usually it's accompagned by a good Montepulciano wine or a Pecorino wine. I also enjoy walking in the Majella National park or playing with my children on the blue flag awarded beaches near Lanciano. As a family, we also enjoy experiencing other culture and travelling whenever possibile. I strongly believe that understanding other cultures and embrassing them makes us all better and stronger people. I lived in different places in Europe and have choosen to live now in the beautiful region of Abruzzo, in my opionion a paradise in Europe.
