Bring a friend & take a break, chill on the deck, by the fire or take a walk in the countryside along the Clutha Gold Trail.

NB: We have a 2nd cabin onsite sleeps 5, good for 2 groups. See photo.
We are open to short term winter stays.

The space
This 2bdrm cabin is more spacious than it looks with its high ceilings and 2 loft spaces with sofa beds. There is plenty of room for 4-6 people to chill out. The fit-out is to a high standard, with new beds & linens. x1 queen bed and 2 king singles. The loft has 2 single sofa beds, better for children or teens, not for adults! There is a full kitchen, bbq and laundry. Outside is a bath in the deck! The main front windows look up the valley and the Clutha Gold cycleway goes past the gate!
If you need more beds, book our Avoca cabin next door too - it sleeps 5. Or talk to us about bringing tents/campervans etc and rent both cabins.

Guest access
You will have the whole cabin to yourself.
Above each container is a mezzanine accessed by a ladder, this is a casual relaxing space to enjoy some tv, play board games or read a good book. Bring your Netflix login!

Other things to note
- We are happy to recommend great reliable companies for bike hire & return shuttle service, bbq packs, suggestions for places to walk, paint, hunt and fish.
Note- there are NO shops in Millers Flat, just a pub 1.2km away from here!

Millers Flat, Otago, New Zealand

This is a small NZ farming village with a pub and a heated town pool for your use in summer. There are no shops, the closest supermarket is in ROxburgh 15mins away. Ormaglade cabins are on the Clutha Gold cycle trail.

The cabin is situated in a paddock on a working farm close to a rural road, there are horses and cows and sometimes tractors and trucks about - a real taste of the country! For these reason we don't allow pets!

We are a family of 4, we have 2 fun children aged 13 and 15yrs. We love kayaking, walking and swimming in the lake. We mountain bike as a family and enjoy getting into nature. We have travelled a lot and love meeting people from other countries. Come and relax in our beautiful part of the world with others.
