  • Matt was a very accommodative and most importantly, flexible host. And the location of the apartment is spectacular - you rarely, if ever, have to transfer trains because you have access to so many lines. It was a great spot to stay!

  • Was the first time in New York with my wife and we loved the experience in Matt's studio. Excellent location in Brooklyn. One block and away steps to the subway lines A, C, F, R that took me in a few minutes to the JFK, Harlem and all places in Manhatan.

Even though the studio is not big, it was clean, with good heating and with all the necessary amenities for two people. The New York view on the roof was really good. Matt's personal things make the studio very cozy.

And the best! Matt was a perfect host, providing tips and recommendations all the time. He arranged to ship a purchase to the building and allowed that I receive the package. The communication with Matt was permanent and was always ready to help us.

    I recommend Matt's studio!

  • Good location - A block away from subway. Line that goes straight to Penn-Station.
The apartment is small, but larger than usual 300+ USD hotel rooms.
    No TV.
    Didn't really use the kitchen.
Didn't use the building facilities, but the fitness center looked pretty good.
The rooftop view is really something.
Matt was very responsive by email and SMS, and left many cool tips about the city.

  • Matt was incredibly responsive and very generous in providing directions, helpful tips and recommendations for the area, as well as clean towels and other necessities. His apartment was clean and easy to find, and it was very easy to pick up the key from his doorman when I arrived.

Location is great -- easy walking distance to Brooklyn Heights, several subway stations, and bars and restaurants on Smith and Atlantic.

I'd definitely recommend Matt to anyone staying in the area. Had a great trip!

  • Matt was the perfect gentleman. He was super helpful and responsive. His space was just right- quiet and cozy with all the amenities we needed. We slept like babies after each full day of activities. We were able to access any train we wanted. There are lots of options for shopping footsteps away. The building rooftop, gym, and 24hr store right next door were perfect and readily accessible. We hope we can come back soon!

  • Perfect location, very nice studio. We enjoyed our stay!

  • We really enjoyed our stay at Matt's place in Brooklyn!!! The studio had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfy and the building had alot of great features. Loved the 51st floor balcony..so beautiful. 4th floor lounge and fitness room were a nice added bonus. Elevators came super fast any time we needed them and hardly ever waited more than 30 sec. The location of building was perfect!! 1.5 blocks to A,C,2 and 3 and another 1.5 blocks to 4,5 and F train which we used alot. very easy to get into Manhattan but we also fell in love with downtown brooklyn. 1.5 blocks to shopping on fulton mall and DUMBO and Brooklyn Bridge Park(under the bridges) are a must see! Shake Shack became our fave burger joint a few blocks away. Ok back to the building...Matt was super easy to connect with by email or phone at any time and we loved the flexible check in/check out time. We hope to definitly stay at his place next time we come to NYC. Thanks for a great experience!!!

  • Matt was an excellent host and his space is the best in Brooklyn, hands down. Matt's studio was clean, cozy, and inviting. He provided a full list of information and recommendations with everything a guest could need, complete with a wonderful welcome message! Communication was clear, prompt, helpful, and kind. Better than a hotel, and the view from the rooftop deck makes locals pull out there phones to take pictures.

I was Brooklyn for a conference at a hotel less than a block away and was able to make the trip work because of Matt's location! The Brooklyner has fabulous access to transportation, Citi bikes, etc is absolutely fabulous, close proximity to fine dining, and all the rest.

I will certainly be staying with Matt again the next time I return!
