Blue Mountian Guest House, newly renovated and furnished on The Old Bretscher Farm House property. Beautiful 4.8 acre wooded area with 900 feet of frontage on the Plattekill Creek. Stocked with all the amenities you need. Just 9 miles from Woodstock and 13 miles to Hunter Mountain.

The space
Our 600 sq ft Guest House is on The Old Bretscher Farm House (built in 1793) property. Both the main house and the guest house have been beautifully and lovingly restored. The landscape design is very special too, rustic yet sophisticated. We are so grateful to have this haven to share with our family and friends when they need to retreat from the world to create and recreate.

We are artists in the field of film and theatre, so we love that Ulster County is not only bucolic, but it’s also home to a thriving, diverse artist community.

Our favorite thing is sitting outside with our morning coffee and watching the birds and the occasional family of deer forage nearby. And when we need a little stimulation, the galleries, theaters and shops of Woodstock and Saugerties Village are just minutes away. A little bit of heaven for us-and we hope it is for you too…
