Make our coastal hideaway your home away from home. We invite you to escape to our charming bungalow and explore the amenities right outside your door. Whether fishing, crabbing, bird watching, boating, or taking in the phenomenal sunsets off your private porch; a time of peaceful recreation and relaxation awaits you here on Grassy Sound.

The space
Our quaint and private bungalow with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (plus an outside shower) is located at the Grassy Sound Marina between North Wildwood and Cape May Court House, NJ. This escape is a secluded marina tucked away from the vacationing crowds. The marina is quiet and peaceful, so the bungalow is best suited for couples and/or families with older children. No groups of young adults, thank you.

Bring your kayak or paddle boards. Relax and enjoy surrounded by nature's finest shore birds & sea life; watch the porpoises & otters, the egrets, herons, osprey, kingfishers, terns, mud hens, red knots, and so many more. Visit the fishing pier to catch some flounder, striper, bluefish, weakfish, or blue claw crabs to eat out on your private patio!

The bungalow is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It has plenty of room inside and out to relax and enjoy your time on the sound, offering a fully stocked kitchen, a generous living space, and incredible views of the vast marshes on the Cape. Explore the beautiful & serene Grassy Sound Channel, visit the nearby Wildwood & Stone Harbor beaches & enjoy endless shopping and eateries just minutes away. Take your bike onto the Ocean Drive bike route to catch phenomenal sunrise views and bird life.

We enjoy sharing our peaceful property with others looking for a retreat from the busyness of life. No parties, and ONLY registered guests permitted on the property. We welcome those desiring peace and quiet and a reconnection with nature; quiet, mindful guests with a caretaker philosophy for the bungalow, the marina and yourselves. We ask you to leave our property as pristine as you find it so that those that follow you may enjoy fully. The house is located a few hundred feet down a dock from the parking lot.

PLEASE INCLUDE ALL GUESTS in your booking. 6 person maximum. NO pets.

Neighborhood highlights

The bungalow is located off of a private drive that leads only to our marina and a waterfront bar/restaurant, The Lazy Bass. Live acoustic music most evenings. It is quiet and secluded from the busyness of the island vacationers. At the marina there are three homes; two for guests and the third for the owners who oversee the marina and all guests. It is a beautifully safe and peaceful spot to hang your hat for a few days or more.
