-For stays that are less than the minimum usually required, please inquire, sometimes exceptions can be made when there are openings.
-If this room is not available, please send a message inquiring, there may be other rooms that might be open/available .
The private bathroom is not in the room, but is right next to it.

Please see "Amenities" to find out what I do and do not offer.
Interaction with Guests
I offer basic accomodations at very reasonable rates for my guests who are looking for a safe, friendly, and comfortable place to shower and sleep so that they may spend the rest of their time getting to know Lima. I do my very best to give you a warm welcome and make you feel comfortable in my home during your stay.
I am in and out of my home on a regular basis but very good about checking in on guests often to make sure your stay is going well and to ask if there are any questions. If there is anything I forget or don't think about, please do not hesitate to ask! I can always be reached by messaging via Airbnb.
My neighborhood, Barrio Medico, is considered a safe, upscale place with a higher standard of living, as it borders the Miraflores District/Surquillo District.
I am closest to Angamos/Tomas Marsano (cuadra 17 Angamos) in Surquillo and Roca Y Bologna/Tomas Marsano (cuadra 9 Roca y Bologna) in Miraflores.
Staying with me you will experience two worlds. One of locals, enjoying the same malls, shops, markets, parks and walks that I do and the other being close enough to enjoy many tourist areas as well. The heart of Miraflores (Parque Kennedy) is a nice 25 minute walk. If you do not like to walk, it is only about a 5 minute taxi ride for about 6-7 Peruvian soles, which is less than 2 Euros or $2.50 USD, VERY CHEAP :)
Barranco is about a 10 minute taxi ride and Central Lima is about 20-25 minutes. If you are not in a hurry and want to save money, there is always the option of taking a bus too :)
SAN ISIDRO and SAN BORJA are to the north
MIRAFLORES is to the south and west
SURCO is to the east
From my home:
Taxi's are easily accessible right outside the front door.
The nearest bus stop is about 5 minutes walking distance.
The metropolitano is about a 10-15 minutes walking distance.
AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION SERVICES:
erable to theft since you will have ALL of your belongings with you. I would prefer that guests arriving in the middle of the night to use my taxi services for a number of reasons. Please keep in mind that I am waiting for you. If you are delayed or not going to show, PLEASE TELL ME.
Other Things to Note
TRANSPORTATION FROM (or to) THE AIRPORT:
I NEVER recommend taking public buses from (or to) the airport or bus terminal. Sometimes thieves hop on buses looking for people to rob and if you have all of your belongings with you, you leave yourself vulnerable. Taking a bus is generally safe but NOT when you have luggage.
With that being said:
Taxi drivers also scam so just be aware. Scammer taxi's will tell you ANYTHING to get more money from you, including driving you around in ugly areas and telling you where you are going is dangerous and you should go somewhere else. They do this because they get commissions from hotels/hostels. If they don't get you to agree to go somewhere else, they will double, sometimes triple the original agreed amount and tell you it is because it took them more time to get to the place you are staying. Taxis know you are going to be exhausted from your travels and know how they can take advantage of you if you are tired and not familiar with the area. So please be aware.
Unless you have somebody you know picking you up, the safest and most convenient way is to take my taxi services to and from the airport for an additional fee each way. For the reasons stated above, I have hired drivers I know and trust to work with me to provide a personal and reasonably priced transportation service from the airport that will be worry free, safe, and convenient. I do the worrying for you, arranging and organizing your transportation, and will be here at my home, to greet you when you arrive. If you would like for me to arrange one of my taxi's for your arrival (or departure), upon reserving, please provide your complete flight details (airline company, flight #, arrival/departure time, and where the plane will be flying from/to).
Upon reserving a taxi with me, check airbnb itinerary for instructions of your airport pick up or drop off.
Please make sure to shut door to entrance completely.
Put key in lock for front door the right way (teeth of key going up). Lost or broken keys will result in a $10 USD charge.
Utilities are expensive. If you turn a light on, please turn it off when you leave the room.
Make sure to turn all water faucets off completely.
A friendly reminder that kitchen use is not included in the accommodations.
Please do not clean up spills with my towels (it can leave stains in them). Please ask for a mop or rag.
Strangers, family, or friends are not allowed in my home. Please visit them at their house.
There is NO SMOKING allowed within the premises of my home.
Thank you in advance for respecting my home and rules.
From Jan 27 - Feb 14, 2016 the minimum stay is 2 nights.
