Interaction with Guests
We offer basic accomodations at very reasonable rates for our guests who are looking for a safe place to shower and sleep so that they may spend the rest of their time getting to know Lima. We do our very best to give you a warm welcome and make you feel comfortable in our home during your stay.
We are in and out of our home on a regular basis but Antonio is very good about checking in on guests often to make sure your stay is going well and to ask if there are any questions. If there is anything we forget or don't think about, please do not hesitate to ask!
We live in a safe neighborhood called Barrio Medico. It is located right on the border of the Miraflores/Surquillo District. We are closest to Angamos and Tomas Marsano (cuadra 17 Angamos) and Roca Y Bologna and Tomas Marsano (cuadra 9 Roca y Bologna).
Staying with us you will experience two worlds. One of locals enjoying the same malls, shops, markets, parks and walks that we do and the other being close enough to enjoy many tourist areas as well.THE HEART OF MIRAFLORES (PARQUE KENNEDY) IS A 20-25 MINUTE WALK FROM OUR HOME. If you do not like to walk, it is only about a 5 minute taxi ride away for about 6-7 Peruvian soles which is less than 2 Euros or $2.50 USD, VERY CHEAP :)
Barranco is about a 10 minute taxi ride and Central Lima is about 20-25 minutes. If you are not in a hurry and want to save money, there is always the option of taking a bus too :)
SAN ISIDRO and SAN BORJA are to the north
MIRAFLORES is to the south and west
SURCO is to the east
Taxi's are easily accessible right outside our front door and the nearest bus stop is about a 5 minute walk from our home.
For your convenience, we do offer transportation from/to the airport for a fee. Please inquire.

Great place! Antonio was awesome and organized a pick up from the airport for us. We got a nice map that he draw for us about the surrounding areas and the places to see. He also gave us information about taxi prices so we won't get ripped off and was arround for any questions we might have. Definitely worth the money, going back next week.
Our experience in Lima was amazing and that was in great part to the hospitality and advice from Antonio! He always took time out of his day to give us directions and to ask about what we did each day. The room and the bathroom were clean. We highly recommend staying here and hope to be back soon!
We had a great 3 night stay with Antonio. The room was huge and very clean, the house is close to everything with a great local restaurant 4 minutes down the road. Antonio was so helpful and was very lovely to have a chat too. We would definitely stay here again!
Good value place to stay about 20-25 minute walk to Park Kennedy area in Miraflores. Basic room and bathroom, fairly clean, house is safe, host (Antonio) is a nice guy. Overall would recommend to a friend and would stay again.

About the Host, Antonio
Hello and welcome!
A little bit about us...
I was born and raised in Lima, Peru. I moved to the United States when I was 16, learned English and graduated from Clovis High School in Fresno, California and then moved to Sacramento. After living in the United States for 22 years I wanted to move back to Peru with my family (2011) to share my culture, language and country with my children and wife. I speak both Spanish and English fluently.
Tina, was born in Concord, Massachusetts and moved to the Sacramento area in California when she was a child. She went to American River College and has an A.S. Degree. She speaks English and some Spanish.
We have been married for 17 years and have 4 children that keep us busy! My mother, Senora Carmen also lives here. If you are in the bottom part of the house, you will see her cooking in the kitchen most days :)
Tina works full time and also helps me with answering my mesages for airbnb. When she is not working she is taking care of the house and children. As a result of her full schedule, you probably won't see much of her if you get to meet her.
Hosting is my full time job. I have been working with tourists for a little more than three years now. I do not just hand you the keys and leave you alone. I spend a lot of time with my guests, making sure they are comfortable, answer any questions that they have, and giving some suggestions along the way. I do my best to make sure your experience in Lima is a nice one.
