We added an NYC skyline mural with blackboard paint as the night sky. If you stay here, draw something sweet on it!
A gorgeous room, in a huge light filled apartment, in a convenient location, in NYC's BEST neighborhood!
Here are the basics ...
-Bedroom with Queen bed available in a quiet room
-1,800 sq. foot East Village loft
-Apt has central air!!!
-Near tons of subways -- 6,F,N,Q,R
-Apt includes pool table, dishwasher, 2 full bathrooms, awesome roommates, brick walls, wifi, modern plumbing, and complimentary handshake.
Seriously, the East Village is the best place to stay in NYC. If you don't stay with us, find somewhere else in the area. There are tons of great bars and restaurants, and if you stay with us, we'll let you know about all of the hidden gems :) The area is very convenient, with subways extending out to all corners of the city, and yet you'll always feel great coming back!
We are 3 guys (American and Aussie mix), sharing an incredible East Village loft. We all generally work normal hours, and tend to go out on weekends or occasionally during the week. We're pretty normal in the good sense (you know what I mean!), and are always very respectful of our guests.
Please send a message if this sounds like a good place for you!
Amazing location, huge spacious apartment, and great people! Had such a good time I stayed longer :)
I didn't get to meet Adam but his roommates Alex and Jim were super friendly and easy to communicate with. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures, very spacious! The location of the apartment is great. I love the east village and every other part of Manhattan (as well as Brooklyn and Williamsburg) are very easy to reach with public transport. Walking will also get you a long way (walking crosstown towards west village is a great walk with Washington square park and more along the way). I would love to stay here again.
I was hosted by Jim and Alex who went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The apartment is huge and the area is very vibrant, its a great place to stay
Great apartment with a great location. It is about 5-10min walk from a large and well connected subway station from which you can take trains straight up to times square or over to Brooklyn.
It's about 90minutes by subway/train from JFK airport, only had to make 2 changes so not bad at all.
When I arrived the host (Jim) made me feel very welcome, showed me different areas I may want to check out on a map, showed me around the apartment and in general made me feel very welcome. He also took me to a local bar for a couple casual beers which was very needed after a long trip!
The room was good, it faces the quite side instead of the main road. Only "issue" I could find is that it gets rather cold but there is a heater provided which you can turn on.
In general all the roommates were very quiet and welcoming, I spent most of my time exploring the city and would only really be around when sleeping.
The listing description is extremely accurate- yes there is a working billiard table, there may not be a christmas tree when you show up but I doubt that will be a problem.
The apartment has really spacious living areas which I had full access to including full kitchen. The room was plenty big and comfortable.
Apart from the creaky floorboards, this is an awesome place to stay. Also worth noting, whatever luggage you bring will have to be carried up a couple flights of stairs (not a massive deal). Being situated in the East Village means there is no shortage of nighttime activity just outside the door. Plus the subways are only a 5min walk away.
Had a wonderful stay at Adam's apartment. Adam and his roommates were very friendly and relaxed in having a 'stranger' below their roof. Immediately felt at home and at ease. Location in East Village is perfect. There is a lot happening around the corner and you can conveniently reach both lower manhattan and Central Park. Would definitely recommend this place.
My stay in NYC was incredible, the place was absolutely spotless and very accommodating. The picture's definitely do not do this place justice! I could not have asked for a better place to spend my short but sweet time.
Adam and the boys were insanely friendly and were more than happy to give a guide to the big city.
For my first Air BNB experience, this was a definite great starter. I'd be honored to stay at this place again in the near future!
Thanks again guys, it was a pleasure to have met you all!
