Very friendly and welcoming place to stay. We slept very comfortably. Maria gave some great tips for the surrounding area!
Maria's place feels like a home. The room was spacious and the bathrooms newly renovated. Maria was very helpful during my stay and provided any assistance required....even printing out my boarding passes for my flight the next day.
I would recommend staying here and would definetly stay again.
Thanks for a great London experience!
I stayed at Maria's place only for 2 nights. She made me feel at home straight away. It was a great experience and I really enjoyed her company. Highly recommended!!!!!!
Maria is lovely and smart.
She is ready to help you in any way and to stay in her house is like to be at home.
The house is in a very good position, 5 minutes walk to the underground in a quiet area, but very well served with fast restaurants and markets.
Our first experience with airbnb has been great.
Not only a fantastic hostess, but a very nice person to meet as well. María helped make my stay even more enjoyable with her pleasant and entertaining conversation. Very glad I chose this place this time, and look forward to staying with her next time business takes me to her area of London again.
Safe neighborhood and very comfy bed! Maria was a lovely host and greeted me with a hug at the door. Everything was very clean in the room and you will have a separate bathroom to yourself and full access to the other rooms (kitchen, living room and even the other bath if you prefer) in the house. There are two stations nearby both within 5-10 min walk. Very convenient and would recommend it to other airbnbers.
We really loved the time we spent with Maria. The room was spacious and we had our own bathroom. We nearly feeled as if we were at home. Maria supported us when we had questions and really knows London well. The flat is very near to West Kensington Underground station and is a very good starting point for your London trips. We will stay there again when we come back to London (which is hopefully soon). We can recommend Maria's rooms fully. You won't get many better deals in London.
Maria is a really great host. She's very nice, full of life and enthusiasm. What a pity my english was not fluent enough to discuss further with her.
My husband, our 4 years-old daughter and I stayed 3 nights. Two others rented a room at the same time we did, one of which came from Roma. So it was a pleasant international stay in kensington !
The room is quite big, with a large desk and everything you need to store your belongings. (remarks for people who have difficulty climbing stairs, bathroom and bedrooms are not on the same floor).
Every thing is clean and comfortable.
The place is well located : 15 min to Hyde Park, Notting Hill, Kensington high street etc.
We enjoyed being at Kew Gardens in less than 30 min !
The street is lovely and quiet.
Thank you Maria for having us !
We really enjoyed our stay with Maria. She was a great hostess and our room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent location for all London attractions.
The house was, as advertised, spacious, beautifully-decorated, light-filled, and welcoming. My family and I had a private, nicely-sized room on the top floor and our own bathroom with a shower one floor down. At the time we stayed, the house was full: guests from elsewhere in Europe were staying in two additional bedrooms. Everyone was friendly and polite, and we enjoyed getting to know each other over tea or breakfast.
One night, Maria and her daughter, who was home for the holidays and also staying in the house, watched our baby for my husband and me so that we could go see a show, and we were very grateful. They were also helpful in keeping an eye on her from time to time during the day.
The number of people in the house and the close proximity of all the rooms, of course, means that a crying baby, especially at night, causes real strain. There are also lots of stairs to navigate.
Maria is a gregarious host with lots of stories to tell and lots of advice and opinions to offer. She takes an active interest in her guests and is happy to share whatever provisions they may have forgotten, such as chargers, maps, and guides.
