Our stay at Jack's studio in Franklin Village was absolutely excellent. My boyfriend and I ended our road trip down the coast with a stay here in LA, looking for a comfortable, convenient home base with a parking spot. Jack's place was that and more!
Jack is so friendly, kind, and welcoming, communicating patiently by text and phone as we navigated our way to the apartment. He gave us a much appreciated introduction to the (awesome) neighborhood upon our arrival, and walked us through certain features of the apartment (like the full access to Direct TV). The studio was a perfect size for two, and is decorated so thoughtfully. The kitchen is stocked with spices and other fixings needed to whip up a meal if needed. The entire place is spotless clean and really feels like a home. The AC/fan kept us happy throughout the night. And the bed... So comfy!
The location was ideal. Right near Griffith Park, Hollywood, and a 10 minute drive to downtown and cute spots in Echo Park, Silver Lake, Los Feliz. The parking spot was something we were looking for, but this private spot in the back of the building helped us feel especially safe! A treat to not have to look for parking constantly.
Jack is clearly an Airbnb super host. I have no doubt that we will stay at one of his listings again on our next trip to LA. Staying here was the perfect way to wrap up our vacation. One of the best Airbnb experiences I've had, for sure.
Jack's studio was one of the best Airbnb experiences I've had so far. It literally had everything I was looking for, and then some. It's its own private space in a quiet building in a fun neighborhood. The accommodations itself checked all the boxes -- spacious, clean, beautifully furnished, private, safe (keycode entry w/option to deadbolt w/key), etc... The neighborhood is amazing since you have a bunch of restaurants and bars on the very next block over, with a supermarket just on the next block after that. I chose that spot strategically because most of my friends are in that area and I knew it would be easier to see them that way, but I underestimated exactly how easy it would be to meet up with so many viable options so close to me. I honestly can't have imagined a better scenario. Many friends who wound up visiting the space before we went out commented that they wanted that studio for themselves since they were so blown away by it. It's literally the perfect space for a single person/couple, couldn't have asked for more. You have your own dedicated private parking spot too, in the back behind the whole building, which came in handy for me when friends would come to visit (since I didn't have a car of my own). I'm convinced this place can't be beat.
Jack met us on arrival and showed us around. The studio was clean, tastefully decorated, and just 400 feet from the UCB Theatre. It was just perfect to see the shows we were in town for without having to worry about traffic or parking. This was our first Airbnb experience, and we will definitely try to stay here again when we are in town.
We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was adorable, and very clean. There were even some snacks and drinks left for us. It was close walking distance to many outdoor cafes and the grocery store in Franklin Village. Overall, also a good location to explore LA. The host, Jack, was very pleasant and easy to get in touch with. We would definitely stay again!
Excellent stay! Everything was organized superbly. Apartment was neat and tidy. Instructions prompt and specific. Good location. Highly recommend it!
Perfect place for travelling LA!
We arrived late(even we confused another apartment across the street), but Jack told us not to worry and welcomed us warmly.
Contacting with Jack is very smooth.
Parking was good.
Location was great! (very close to Universal Studio, Hollywood, Griffith Observatory and the freeway)
The studios includes everything I need, more than hotel!
If I travel LA again, I want to stay here again.
