We built Fort Williamson's Cabins in the setting of an old west town. Each one is themed differently. Joe’s Is decorated with saloon decor and antiques. There is a fully stocked kitchen (no oven), refrigerator w/ice maker, a pub style table, small couch, TV & a king bed. The bathroom has a walk in shower & vanity with a lighted mirror. Front Deck with seating & 2 acres of outdoor space. Located less than 15 min from Glacier National Park’s the West Glacier entrance.
Car Rentals also available.

The space
Each cabin is themed making your stay completely unique! These are definitely not your basic old cabin to go back to after a long day exploring. Your stay at Fort Williamson will be almost as adventurous as your hikes!

Joe’s Saloon is named after Robert’s dad . The cowboy hats are Joe’s from when he was playing his guitars and singing in all sorts of saloons, he even made a few records. The guitar above the bed is one of his. The violin was Joe’s moms, we believe it was from the 1920’s. Joe’s has Custom Montana Made Barnwood Furniture (made by Jennifer’s dad), King Bed with Comfy Memory Foam Mattress. The sofa has a Full-sized hide-a-bed in it also with memory foam mattress. There are several personal touches throughout and some of the antiques are family heirlooms. If it went with the theme of the cabin we used it. Why let that stuff sit in a box for no one to see.

Full kitchen (no oven) equipped with all the basics.

We are on a well and the water is filtered before getting to your cabin. You can drink it right from the faucet, it’s the best tasting water!

We are located just outside of Columbia Falls but yet still close enough to pop into town to grab supplies.

The West Entrance of the Park is a quick 15 minute drive up the highway.

Flathead River is less than a 3/4 mile hike from your cabin.

Columbia Mountain trail head is across the highway.

Whitefish is only a 15 minute drive.

Welcome to Fort Williamson!

We are a friendly couple that loves to Host. We originally stumbled onto Airbnb because of a loft we had above our garage. Well that loft ended up being a hit and we added 2 more additional spaces for guests to rent. Hosting has really grown on us over the years, so much we decided to expand again. In June of 2020 we opened Fort Williamson Glacier Vacation Rentals. Fort Williamson offers unique tiny home lodging in the setting of an Old West Town. The different themed units are a Sheriff 's Jail, Roses Place, Joe's Saloon, and Madam Woman's Inn, and Kim's Trading Post. In our off time from hosting we love to enjoy the outdoors ourselves. There is nothing better than being on one of the many rivers or lakes with our Kayaks in the summer. Our properties are are conveniently located along US Hwy 2 between Columbia Falls, Montana and Glacier National Park. The Park’s west entrance is only 15 minutes away.. Feel free to reach out to us and ask us any questions! By
