The apartment's equipment
The apartment is located in the third floor of a 1850 building, very near to the Picasso Museum and the lovely "Paseo del Born", in a lovely and very quiet pedestrian street.
It's very well organized for you to have everything you need for a nice comfortable stay: cooking area, with a fully equipped kitchen and a dinning table.
You have also free Internet connection,if you are planning on a business trip.
The surrounding area:
The area around the apartment, mostly pedestrian, is in the heart of the Born district where the most trendy shops and bars of Barcelona are located, as well as many other restaurants, pubs and cafes. The “Santa Maria del Mar” and the famous “Passeo del born” street are just at few meter from the apartment. Barceloneta's famous beaches are just 10minutes walking so you wont miss anything during the summer! The Gothic cathedral of Barcelona is also at walking distance.
Lucas and his team are great. The place is really nice and in the center of Barcelona's life.
I found the place quiet and cozy.
We stayed at Lucas' apartment for a month. Our stay there was really amazing! It was really what we wanted to find, so spanishlike and with creative sense of taste! Location is truely GREAT!!! Everything U need is at a stone's throw: supermarkets, shops, pubs and restaurants, ATM, metrostations, park, rent of bikes, well and the sea of course. Lucas and his stuff are very friendly and always ready to help. We found a guide to Barcelona in the flat which helped us a lot as well. Also I liked bakery near our place, where I used to buy croissants in the morning. Not expensive bike rental is situated near the metrostation Jaume. We liked this apartment and fell in love with Barcelona!!! We already miss the place we lived in and hope to visit Barcelona again))))
I stayed in this apartment for 1 month and felt wonderful there. Lucas and his staff were friendly and thoughtful. I was studying spanish in Barcelona and they left a spanish dictionary and some books which I could use during my stay, I really appreciated that. The wi-fi worked great as well. In one of the reviews it is said that this place has some "rustic funky charm" - I couldn't agree more, you can see how charming this flat is from the photos. There are some great bars, restaurants and shops nearby, and also some supermarkets (the one on Passeig del Born is good and works 7 days/week till midnight, which is really comfortable).
Merci beaucoup Lucas,
Peut être à une prochaine fois!

This is a very good apartment! We stayed here for a week in the middle of April and this is no doubt 5 points of 5 (for location, interior and comfort). Lucas was very friendly and kind. We recommend!
I stayed in the apartment for 7 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pictures on Airbnb are very accurate and the apartment has a kind of rustic funky charm. The location is outstanding with many cafes, shops, and restaurants nearby. Given the central location, the street and neighbors were actually pretty quiet. The apartment is simply furnished, the bed was very comfortable, and my guests said the sofa bed was also comfortable. There always seemed to be plenty of hot water in the shower and good water pressure. After some initial problems the first week, the wi-fi worked great. Lucas and his staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying in this apartment.
We had a great time living here. The location is superb concerning the nice neighborhoods of Barca and also very close to the beach. The appartement is somewhat a painted corpse, but it didnt bother us. It has got what you need. Would defenitly recommend it for young travellers since the street is a bit noisy (there is a gallery that host events almost every night till 10pm) and because of the condition of the appartement overall. Lucas was a great host. One bad thing: the internet connection was lousy during our stay! Only worked in the kitchen, so it was not good for a 'working holiday'.
