The Space

Very laid back clean and beautiful place. This apartment is located in a 1930's building with a lot of charm. Wonderful parquet floors throughout, big windows that fill the apartment with light. The room is quiet and is situated right down the hall from your private bathroom. The apartment comes fully loaded with cable, internet, and access to the kitchen. It is very spacious with space to practice yoga with friends. Host is very easy going.

One of the best attributes of this apartment is that it is very conveniently located. The Woodley Park neighborhood is situated between the National Cathedral and the Smithsonian National Zoo. We are close to both the Marriott Conference Center and the Omni-Shoreham Conference Center. At the bottom of the street is the Red Line. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and close to the Rock Creek Parkway, which is a great spot to walk, run or cycle.

  • Suzannah was a good host. She was friendly and able to accommodate a late night arrival time. The location of her apartment is very convenient to hotel conference locations and much more reasonably priced. The room is clean, spacious, and includes a private bathroom and Internet access. The apartment as a whole is not very well sound insulated, but this is the only (minor) drawback I experienced.

  • Great neighborhood, close to metro, zoo and cathedral. Older apartment building but very clean, secure entry into building. Apartment was comfortable, lots of windows but shaded with mature trees. Owner's personal touches made it like home. Definitely my first choice on my next visit.

  • My stay at Suzannah's was good. The appartment was 2min far by walking from the Marriot hotel were I had a conference and very close to one metro station for visiting the city. The room was cute and clean and I had my own bathroom. Suzannah was very nice and helpful during the whole stay.

  • Another fantastic week at Suzannah's. The apartment is as charming as ever, with the very welcome addition of a new bigger bed. Some redecoration in the living room makes the place even nicer. My only regret was not having more of a chance to talk to Suzannah, who kept even crazier hours than me. But I'm already planning another visit. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in DC. Thanks, Suzannah!

  • My room in Suzannah's apartment was comfortable, spacious, and private. Thanks for welcoming me into your home Suzannah!

  • I chose Suzannah's place because it was close to the Marriott, where my conference was. But I'm glad I stayed there for more reasons than that. The apartment is great, the neighborhood is quiet and close to transit, stores and restaurants. And Suzannah is a helpful and warm host.

  • Clean. Easy key pick up and handoff. All in all perfect since my conference was at the hotel next door and the place is near subways.

  • Great location (especially for a conference at the Marriott), fun to visit with friendly little cat, cozy room. Suz has upgraded the bed to a queen now, very comfy. Easily walkable to restaurants and metro. Easy to get key when checking in, Suz is very flexible on checkout and leaving bags if necessary. Just a great place to stay.

  • Suz's apartment is in a great location: near the Marriott and Omni convention hotels, close to the zoo and a very easy walk to metro. Also it is near several great restaurants. And the apartment itself is bright and airy. The guest room is spacious and comfortable with its own bath. Suz had some nice extras: brochures about DC, a couple of pieces of fresh fruit, etc. She is a friendly, non-intrusive host who welcomes you and let us you do your own thing. Great stay. And Schmutz, the cat, will welcome you as well. I can't say enough good about Suz and her airbnb accommodation.

  • It was a pleasure to stay at Suzannah's (and Schmootzy)' place. The location was very convenient (even if you are not attending a conference at the nearby Marriot) - near public transport and many restaurants. I had no difficulties in my communications with Suzannah and felt very comfortable with the arrangements. Schmootzie, the cat, is very curious and friendly and made me feel immediately welcome. The room and flat were as described and presented. Merci Suzannah!
