This stunning lake house is an outdoor enthusiast's dream. Huge windows allow you to take in the breathtaking views of the 10.5-acre lake and surrounding woods. While you'll be an easy 30-minute drive from downtown Cincinnati, the Aquarium, Creation Museum, and Riverbend Music Center, you'll revel in the stillness of the natural landscape surrounding this charming home. Of course, the in-ground pool, hot tub, fire pit, game room, fishing, hiking, basketball court & kayaks also sweeten the deal!

The space
There are two homes on this private 125-acre property--the "Lake House" and "Stone House". The Lake House (this listing) has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 12 while the Stone House (built in 1843 and newly renovated) has 5 bedrooms and sleeps 20. Each house is separately listed on Airbnb, but can be booked together. This means that if not booked together, you may be sharing the property (lake, swimming pool, kayaks, etc.) with other guests or the owners.

-WEDDINGS: We are not booking weddings at this time.

Guest access
Guests of the Lake House can access the hot tub, lake and pool. There are two fire pits.

Other things to note
-We provide enough toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and dish/laundry soap to get you started but you may need to buy more before your stay is over.
-Note that the swimming pool will be open & available from Memorial Day weekend - mid September
-There are parking spaces on the property for up to 12 vehicles between both houses
-Coffee, tea and sugar will be provided
-We provide bath towels but you need to pack pool towels.
-The lake is not for swimming, just kayaking and fishing.
-Kayaks and life jackets are available for your use free of charge
-If number of guests exceeds the maximum capacity without permission you will lose your security deposit
-WEDDINGS: We are not booking weddings at this time.

The property has fish jumping out of the water and heron flying over the lake, as well as deer, geese, foxes, etc. calling this land home. We have even spotted a bald eagle.
Meanwhile, you are within 1 minute of a convenience store, 15 minutes of a grocery store and 30 minutes of downtown Cincinnati (Paul Brown Stadium--Cincinnati Bengals, Great American Ballpark--Cincinnati Reds), Heritage Bank Center--concerts, Underground Railroad Museum), Riverbend Music Center, Newport Aquarium, Creation Museum, and the list goes on.
