We had a great time at Bed with a View. The flat was lovely and had everything we needed and was great place to relax. The best thing was the location, perfect for exploring Edinburgh and really handy for the train station. Although we didn't meet Rachel, she made us feel very welcome and gave us a few tips on great places to visit while we were there.
we had a wonderful stay in edinburgh, and bed with a view was just the perfect spot to stay and explore this beautiful city - close and cosy, with everything you need, and a beautiful view to wake up to. thank you so much rachel & co. for having us and making us feel welcome and at home!
Rachel's flat was perfect for a short business stay in Edinburgh. Centrally located and kept in immaculate order, it was exactly what I needed. Rachel, Gill and John were also easily accessible and more than accommodating with my arrival time which had presented a bit of a problem!
This apartment is in a fantastic location for a visit to Edinburgh, just a few steps from the Royal Mile, buses and train station. We were unable to get hot water in the shower which wasn't ideal but despite this we really loved the apartment. It has all you need for a short stay.
Rachel, Gill, and John were gracious hosts who were able to accommodate our changed travel schedule without trouble. We very much appreciated the thoughtful housewarming/welcoming elements that added a nice, personal touch to the apartment. The location could not have been better for seeing all of the fantastic things Edinburgh has to offer! We will keep this on our list and definitely return if it is available during our next trip to the UK!
This was my second time to Edinburgh and the flat was in an amazing location! One door to the Royal mile, right in the heart of a beautiful city. Rachel and company were very easy to deal with and I would highly recommend this flat. Cheers!
Rachel is a fantastic host - her communication is very quick and helpful and the apartment is lovely. It's in the absolute best location - could not have been better! I highly recommend Bed with a view as a place to explore edinburgh!!
Thanks for this great review Monique. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay at Bed With a View. Apologies again for the lack of hot water - i had only just discovered that the instruction manual for the apartment had gone missing. And John forgot to mention the booster button. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. Cheers to you
I'm a travelling bookbinder and paper artist and divide my time between Edinburgh and the Isle of Iona. I teach workshops internationally which allows me to combine my love of paper art and travel. I've been having an affair with Edinburgh for many years and am still entranced by it. If you have any questions, try me! I'll be happy to tell you what I know of this amazing place.
