Rachel's flat is beautiful! Great location & while we arrived later than expected, Gill (house keeper) was super nice about being there when we arrived. Flat is cozy and clean just like the pictures show. Loved being right off the Royal Mile (easy to get around old town & new town). It was a holiday weekend so it was a bit loud into the night time hours below the flat but to be expected in a fun city. Overall a great little place right where you want to be in Edinburgh for a weekend or week!
We had a lovely time here :) we spent the weekend and enjoyed the lovely view as well as the flats great location. Kitchen was great, bed very comfy. John met us to give us the keys on behalf of Rachel and he was helpful and friendly. Stay here, it's great. Gareth
A wonderful spot in the heart of Edinburgh. Perfect for a weekend break. Clean and bright with lovely personal touches.
My colleague stayed here for a few nights whilst up in Scotland on a business trip.
Both Rachel and the housekeeper were very flexible about arrival time, and made my colleague feel very welcome. Rachel also provided us with recommendations for good places to eat in the area, which was very helpful indeed for a first time visitor.
The apartment was just as it is in the photos - it is small but very clean, comfortable, conveniently located by the train station and perfect for our requirements. My colleague has said she would definitely happily stay there again in future.
We had a great time at Bed with a View. The flat was lovely and had everything we needed and was great place to relax. The best thing was the location, perfect for exploring Edinburgh and really handy for the train station. Although we didn't meet Rachel, she made us feel very welcome and gave us a few tips on great places to visit while we were there.
we had a wonderful stay in edinburgh, and bed with a view was just the perfect spot to stay and explore this beautiful city - close and cosy, with everything you need, and a beautiful view to wake up to. thank you so much rachel & co. for having us and making us feel welcome and at home!
Rachel's flat was perfect for a short business stay in Edinburgh. Centrally located and kept in immaculate order, it was exactly what I needed. Rachel, Gill and John were also easily accessible and more than accommodating with my arrival time which had presented a bit of a problem!
As The Travelling Bookbinder I divide my time between Edinburgh and the Isle of Iona. Teaching workshops internationally allows me to combine my love of paper art and travel. I've been having an affair with Edinburgh for many years and am still entranced by it. If you have any questions, try me! I'll be happy to tell you what I know of this fantastic city.
