The apartment is located in the historical neighborhood of Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn. It’s a lovely loft apartment with a beautiful backyard space. The apartment is fully furnished and sleeps 2 comfortably with one queen size bed. This is not a share space. The apartment is equipped with all the amenities: T.V., stereo, cable, cot, internet, microwave, and a fully functional kitchen. Located close to shops, restaurants, local lounges and pubs. Its a 10 minute walk to the subway and a 20 minutes ride into Manhattan by public transportation.
It is close to all local attractions, Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), Prospect Park. And the soon to open Barclay arena.
What makes this space special, it feels like home! It has a great feel when you enter.
Its like a big hug.
The neighborhood is multicultural, family friendly with a park one block away. And don't forget the backyard it's open! So give me a try and be surprise.

Great host, friendly and helpful, nice place and location, definitely recommendation for anyone wishing to have good time in NYC and exploring not only Manhattan but also Brooklyn
The good: Eada is charming and easy to work with. The apartment is on the first floor, and Eada's sister lives upstairs on the second floor. The apartment is clean and well stocked with cooking necessities and wonderful, fluffy towels.
The funky: Let's start with the neighborhood. It's a working-class neighborhood a good schlep from the nearest subway, with no tourist amenities anywhere nearby (nice restaurants, shops, etc.). You can catch busses to the subways, but it took a few days to figure out what bus goes to which subway which goes where. 10 blocks to the south the neighborhood is full-on scary, but Eada's neighborhood, while a bit ragged around the edges, felt safe. And the late night trip from the subway back to her place by bus was fine.
Would I stay here again? As a tourist, probably not. I'm willing to pay more (typically a LOT more - Eada's price is really good!) for a place in a more tourist-friendly neighborhood. But if I was looking for a home away from home in Brooklyn, and I wanted to save a buck, and I didn't care about (or was willing to overlook) the lack of local tourist infrastructure, sure, I'd stay here again.
It was a fantastic place! Lots of locks, beautiful furniture! Everything felt extremely homely in this loft. Noise was also down to a minimum. Would stay here again anytime!
We stayed in NYC for a month and loved this apartment in Brooklyn, huge kitchen and nice living space and the back courtyard was really great. Eada was a really lovely host and made sure our stay was comfortable. Really liked the area it was in too, will definitely stay with Eada in the future.
Great space was as advertised very clean. Huge back yard unfortunately we did not have time to enjoy it. Host was flexible to let us check in a bit early, greatly appreciated.
Very nice stay at Eada's appartment during 12 days. She's living upstairs but she has an independant door. Eada is availbale if you need . Appartment looks like as on pictures. We have all ground floor with separate entrance and we have a totally privacy. Location is good as you are from 30min away form Manahttan. Neighborhood is very nice and welcome. And patio is very appreciated.
For ligt sleepers, I recommend some earplug as like every place in New york it could be noisy and it is wood floor so it cracks.
Good place, good location, good host ! I recommend it.
Bus et me
étro pas très loin, compter une demi-heure de transports en commun pour aller au coeur de Manhattan. Nous avons passé 10 jours absolument extraordinaires.
Thank you Eada! You were so welcoming and it was a lovely cosy apartment. Shame it wasn't quite nice enough weather to use the garden. Great coffee and had everything we needed.
So fabulous to come back back to after long days trekking around New York.
Would recommend to anyone! Was lovely to meet you Eada.
Had an excellent stay . Would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling. Very convenient. I have a toddler and Eada was sweet enough to accommodate to make our stay more comfortable. Very happy!
Eada was very friendly. The apartment was just as advertised. It was really cold while we were there and she was very liberal with the heat which we appreciated.
Some neighborhood suggestions: Peaches Hothouse has great fried chicken and drinks, and One Last Shag is a bit of a hike, but it (email hidden) (and much less scary than the name implies). Overall we had a really great time there!
