Beautiful bedroom suite in an 11th century chateau in the charming town of Lautrec in the South of France. The ground-floor Templar bedroom of Chateau de Brametourte is decorated in a combination of rich gold, deep velvet reds within warm, yellow stoned walls and floors. Its name reflects its Templar history and it is situated next to a Templar symbol in the Gothic Courtyard.
The room contains a king-sized bed, ornaments and
antiques from the 18th century.
French windows provide access to the south facing terrace and stunning views of the gardens and valley
Within the room is an exceptional Gothic stone fireplace and an 11th century defensive arrow slit.
The olive green and white bathroom provides a walk in wet area, toilet, and sink, towel rail and large gilt
Rate includes continental breakfast, tea and coffee facilities and internet access. Extra beds can be added to the room for a small fee. Meals, beverages, refreshments and English breakfasts can also be provided for an additional fee.
Awesome place, there are no other words that could describe our stay.
Alison & Paul were friendly and warmly welcomed me on arrival. They shared information about the countryside and tourist sites as well as local events I could have attended if I were staying longer. My suite was amazing and a charming piece of history. I hope to return again for another stay!
