  • Thoroughly enjoyed our stay ! We stayed in late November, on the weekend of the first snowstorm of the winter. It cleared up though in the evening for a successful evening of astro-photography. There are quite good dark skies at the farmhouse and we got some impressive shots of the milky way before being driven back inside by the cold night air.
Reg was a wonderful host and is now responsible for having introduced the game of Crokinole to Thailand.

  • Reg & Marlene,

Thank you so much for taking the effort to make out small family (myself, my wife, and my 6 month old son) feel like part of the family!

For others who may want to stay here - this is a lovely, spacious, and unique space to stay at. It's hidden a mile or so off the highway, but still close to many things in the Bruce Peninsuala.

    We highly recommend it!

  • Reg was a wonderful host and our stay, though short, was so delightful. The farmhouse was a perfect city getaway- in a great location- and very convenient for going upto Bruce Peninsula for a day trip (which was our plan). Reg gave us helpful tips and great recommendations for the area. After a day out and about we came home to a wonderful fire, tea, and great conversation with Reg. We can't wait to make another trip up- and to pay a visit to Marlene in PA as well!

  • My stay at the Farmhouse was wonderful. Reg is an attentive host with a great knowledge of the area and Reg's guiding skills led me to places to visit that I wouldn't have found on my own. The family homestead has a warm inviting vibe to it and if you are interested in nature, art, photography or history this rural location is an ideal place to stay. The farmhouse is rustic but full of character and charm and is a welcome change from busy town living. My room was large with lots of space, however, I spent most of my downtime on the covered porch sketching or in the dining room chatting with Reg. I am planning on returning with some friends for an Art Retreat (there is an abundance of inspiration within the farm and grounds alone) and I look forward to returning to the farm in the near future. Marlene wasn't there this time but I hope to met her on a future trip.

  • Reg was very welcoming, offering an insight of the life in the peninsula. They even did a bit of research when we asked about renting kayaks in the area, and nicely offered tips about hiking and the best fish and chips in the area!

the farm is beautiful and the late-summer tomatoes delicious!

    thank you again for everything,

  • Reg was an awesome host and tour guide of the area! He made our trip very enjoyable by showing the spots and activities only locals would know. Their place is indeed very quaint and full of history. Great value for a true Ontarian experience! Thanks Reg and Marlene. We will definitely be back to check the area in a different season.

  • Reg is an amazing host! We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse; it’s a very quiet place with a great atmosphere and history.

We arrived on a rainy day and Reg greeted us with fresh peppermint tea from his garden and a board game that all of us absolutely loved! Later, when it stopped raining, he helped us to start a bonfire, so we spent the rest of our evening outside by the fire. Staying at Reg’s house was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

Reg gave us a lot of information about the area and told us about great places to visit. We truly enjoyed his company and would stay there again.

  • We had a great stay at the Farmhouse. The house and the garden have a fantastic atmosphere and we felt right at home.
Reg is a great host. He recommended us all kind of beautiful places on Bruce Peninsula and did everything to make our stay as beautiful as possible.
If you ever come around to this area I can only highly recommend to stay at Regs and Marlenes house and enjoy the beauty of nature and quiet.

  • Down to earth giving hosts in a house with great personality and history. Not your average air bnb, off in the bush, creaky doors and floors, and almost camp like quality that we truly loved. Stay here if you like farms or camps, we enjoyed the rustic antiquity in the rooms! Excellent host too, reg had a LOT of advice on the area that we appreciated. Enjoyed cooking with him.
