Great location

Guests who stayed here in the past year loved the location.

Dedicated workspace

A room with wifi that’s well-suited for working.
Tucked into the trees, this sweet, budget minded little house with wi-fi is even more private than our other listing nearby. With great views and access to local mountain bike trails, hiking, fishing, etc. The horse and donkey love to eat out of your hand and you can arrange to meet the other animals, tour the fledgling food forest or just sit and read on the porch.

This house is on land that is in the beginning stages of long-term permaculture projects. Come see what we are working on!

The space
This house is simple, sweet, and unassuming, but has everything a person needs to relax, be creative, write, draw or just disappear. It has lots of books, original art, a great little kitchen, an office, and more. We have created a home which is perfect for budget-conscious travelers who value character over pristine perfection.

You will notice this house is undergoing ongoing renovations in 2025! We have an active list of minor repairs and exciting upgrades (inside and outside) to make, such as old windows, uneven floors, etc. We appreciate your patience and invite your feedback.

Interested in meeting or feeding the farm animals? Want to know more about growing food on a small plot of land? Arrange for a full tour.

Guest access
The majority of the house is yours to use. There is one bedroom we use to store extra supplies for this and our other Airbnb listing. We are saving money toward opening up that room for use.

Other things to note
Join us for our free persimmon workshop on November 29th! Guests of the Sulphur Springs Truck Patch houses attend workshops for free!

The house is surrounded by wooded areas, cattle, horse and pig pastures, and a few other country houses. It is generally a pretty quiet location but can expect to hear the occasional truck, cow, coyote, goose, etc.

This land has been passed down in our family and we are the current caretakers. This is the rightful land of the Osage peoples, and a portion of your fee is returned to the Osage Nation via the Daposka Ahnkodapi Elementary, the Osage Nation Language Immersion School, located in Pawhuska, OK.

Please use safety precautions with the animals. They are friendly but this is a working small farm. Please arrange for a tour to see them all up close!

Need room enough for a big trip? We have a second location just 1 minute walk away. Book both! https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/28733741?guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=43ef8551-ad09-4525-95ee-bb2d0ffdefa7
