My place is best for "EARLY BIRDS!" I respect your need for privacy and you can "sleep in" as long as you like, however I like to make coffee in the kitchen around 8:30 AM.
If you normally sleep late or require more privacy, my place might not be right for you. My happiest guests are young travelers, adventure travelers, business people, students, & active or sports loving people. Any age is acceptable, but you must be in good health for the steps and for walking (to where your car is parked). Note that my places is NOT suitable for children under 12. Also please do not stay here if you are sick--if you get sick before you arrive, let me know and I will refund your money. Thank you! Wendy, your host.
Wendy was a great hostess and very accommodating. She gave us lots of great tips on what to do and what to see. On top of that she served a wonderful breakfast in the morning and she was great company as well!
The place was neat and clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was the best part, I mean who doesn't want to wake up to the view of Venice Beach?
Hopefully I'll be back one day and get to know Wendy even better :)
Wendy is a super helpful hostess! Very friendly and conversational, beautiful apartment with an unbeatable view of the beach. Whips up a hearty breakfast as well
Wendy is a magnificent hostess and her place is just as great! It is just steps from the beach and the view, especially at sunset, is fabulous. Even though my trip to Venice was very short, she made me feel at home. If you're looking for a place near the beach, I recommend her place.
Wendy is lovely. She has all the knowledge you will need to experience the finer points of Venice Beach. And if you dont feel like going anywhere, the actual beach is only ten steps away.
*** LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION ***
The apartment is located directly at the beautiful Venice Broadwalk. From your bed you can see the Pacific Ocean. The apartment looks as Wendy has described and the photos are 100% true. As you sleep in the living room I won't recommend this apartment to people needing lots of privacy (e.g. couples). It's perfect for early birds. Wendy is a very nice host. She cares a lot about her guests and gives you recommendations about surroundings. I'd love to stay with her again! Location is amazing and in my opinion there's no better place to stay when you are in Venice Beach.
If you are looking for a cozy place to stay in Venice Beach, Wendy's place cannot be beat! The location is amazing, she's right off the boardwalk and just a few steps from the sand. The inside of her home is decorated in the most fabulous beach-bohemian way and she makes it very easy for any guest to feel comfortable in her home. Wendy herself is a gracious host, she's so sweet and welcoming. She took the time to let me in on a few "locals only"secret Venice gems and she's a wealth of information on the area. Within in minutes I felt as if I was staying with a friend :)
Clean place, little small but in an excellent location. Very friendly ,knowledge and intellectual host. I had a great stay.

I was born in Los Angeles --also lived in Hawaii, Connecticut, and Canada! Now I'm back in my home town of LA & loving it! I am very blessed to be living right next to the beach! I can help you navigate the city of Los Angeles and other towns north- I lived in Santa Barbara up the coast for 10 years and also central California. I enjoy reading, theater, films, hiking, and biking. My life's motto is: Live, Learn & Love! Regarding Venice Beach, I know where all the fun, interesting, and hidden treasures are located --just ask!
