I showed up 12 hours before expected (8am vs. 8pm) which was a surprise for Wendy and the two guests that were still there. Wendy didn't even blink. She introduced me, advised me as how to get the best parking, and gave me the tour. She was completely accommodating and helpful for my entire stay, which was a whirlwind. I experienced perfect weather, a beautiful beach, great swim, incredible food and the experience of an amazingly diverse population that is typical of Venice Beach. Thanks to Wendy. I'll return as soon as possible!
Wendy has the best spot on Venice! She was very welcoming and informative making sure we hit all of her favorite spots while we were in Venice. Her location is amazing and the bed was very comfortable. Will definitely be back to visit for the location & for her great hospitality!
Very cute beach house in a fab location! I really dont think you could find a better location. The only thing we were not aware of was that it was advertised as a private room but it was in fact the communal living area with the host (the house sofa pulled out as a bed). We were a bit taken back by this as we were expecting to have a private room with our own space but ended up sleeping in the living room/kitchen that the host used. However Wendy was very friendly and the house was lovely.
Great stay! Wendy is lovely and the apartment is in the best location!
Loved staying with Wendy! She is super kind and very thoughtful. The apartment is right on the beach and she has so many brochures in the apartment about ways to enjoy Venice/Santa Monica area. I really loved taking a bike ride to the pier and playing pickle ball with the locals on the beach. The apartment was exactly as described so there were no surprises when I checked-in. I would definitely go back and stay at Wendy's place again. Thanks for everything, Wendy!
Wendy was an excellent host! She was super nice and knows LA really well so she gave us a lot of great advice on where to go, what to see/do etc. she made us a light breakfast in the morning, gave us a ton of freedom, and the apartment is literally right on the board walk - it's a perfect location! Would stay again in a heartbeat!
