Eclectic Design & Creative Spaces:

This home offers a unique and colorful atmosphere that caters to everyone:

• Zen Space: A bright and welcoming open-concept kitchen, dining, and family area featuring festival concerts, Asian zen, and Alice in Wonderland-inspired décor.

🎸 What’s new:
• A fully remodeled kitchen with stylish finishes and modern functionality

Whether you’re preparing a feast or just heating up leftovers, you’ll have everything you need — from stainless-steel appliances to a wide variety of utensils, spices, and thoughtful touches.

• Jam Room: A living area and music haven with a real piano, congas, a Djembe, guitar and bass, and more. Whether you’re channeling your inner rock star or just here to relax, this room is perfect for strumming, drumming, or simply jamming out to your favorite tunes. This is where bands are born, or at least where your dad can relive his high school garage days.

• Purple Rain Lounge: Consistently voted the BEST room in the house, this versatile space can double as a lounge or a first-floor bedroom. You might not purify yourself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka, but you can bask in the purple glory of this Prince-inspired lounge. It’s perfect for relaxing, reading, or planning your next album cover.

Bathrooms & Amenities:

Rock N Roll House ensures your group has plenty of space to get ready, unwind, and enjoy the quirky charm of its three unique bathrooms:

• The Random Bathroom (Half Bath): Tucked away on the main floor, this is the only bathroom downstairs, and it’s as eclectic as the rest of the house. Featuring a mix of Christmas Jam, NOLA Jazz Fest, and Little House on the Prairie-inspired décor, it’s a tiny space packed with personality. And yes, brushing your teeth here might feel like you’ve stepped into an art exhibit—but at least you’ll leave smiling!

• The Dancing Bear Bathroom (Master Suite): Part of the Jerry Garcia master suite, this uniquely remodeled bathroom features gorgeous custom tiling and a glass-door shower with a built-in Bluetooth speaker. Whether you’re singing along to “Ripple” or jamming to your personal shower playlist, this bathroom delivers an encore-worthy experience every time.

• Support Local Music Bathroom (Shared Full Bath): Serving the upstairs bedrooms, this bathroom blends vintage charm with practical updates. The older bathtub is clean and paired with excellent water pressure and updated hardware for a refreshing shower. But when the sunlight streams through the fractal rainbow window, filling the room with a kaleidoscope of colors, don’t be surprised if you find yourself humming “She’s a Rainbow” by The Rolling Stones.

A Modern Country Vibe with Inviting Energy:

The Rock N Roll House exudes the charm of a modern cottage, with a playful, laid-back energy that draws you in. The floors used to creak like an old vinyl record, but with our brand-new laminate floors being installed in April 2025, that nostalgic soundtrack might be retiring — in favor of a smoother groove.

Guests often say every corner of the house tells a story, making it a space where groups come together, couples find time to unwind, and everyone feels like they’ve found their rhythm.

Themed Bedrooms & Upstairs Retreats:

• Jerry Garcia Master Suite:

“And we bid you goodnight…” in this refined homage to Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead. With concert posters, vibrant artwork, and subtle San Francisco-inspired accents, the room offers a tasteful nod to the iconic band. The king-size bed with a luxurious Tempurpedic topper invites you to relax in comfort, while the smart TV adds a touch of modern convenience. Upscale design elements and thoughtfully placed lighting create a vibe that’s equal parts groovy and elegant

• Taylor Swift Bedroom:

Step into your “Wildest Dreams” in this glamorous and chic space. Featuring a queen bed, an extra single bed, and a flair for the dramatic, this room is perfect for a diva, a small family, or anyone ready to “Shake It Off” in style. With vibrant décor and touches of sparkle, it’s a space that guarantees sweet dreams and unforgettable selfies.

• Gen Z Bedroom:

A sleek and modern space where the youngest generation (whatever letter they’re on now) will want to hang. Featuring a wall-mounted smart TV, a queen bed, and a double bed, this room is perfect for gamers, teens, or anyone who loves staying plugged in. A striking piece of Brooklyn Bridge art adds an urban vibe, reminding you that you’re never too far from the cool side of life. Equipped with cabling and hookups for your HDMI or Bluetooth devices, the wall-mounted smart TV (with Roku and Netflix) lets you plug in and play whatever consoles you bring along or binge your favorite shows.

• Flower Power Bedroom:

Step into a technicolor dream in this vibrant room, featuring three single beds surrounded by whimsical flowers, butterflies, and art nouveau vibes. Perfect for kids or a cozy group, this is where sweet dreams and peaceful protests collide. Whether you’re marching to bed or just dreaming in technicolor, the Flower Power Bedroom will have you waking up ready to change the world—or at least tackle breakfast.

Perfect for Gatherings Big and Small:

Whether you’re planning a creative jam session, a family reunion, a work-from-home business retreat, or just a comfortable spot for your crew to unwind after long workdays, The Rock N Roll House strikes all the right chords. Its eclectic charm, welcoming atmosphere, and thoughtful details create a harmonious setting for any occasion, making your stay as memorable as a night as your first concert.

Guest access
You will have access to everything on the main level and second story but will not have access to the basement or the garage as I keep my personal belongings in storage there. Nobody will be staying or at the premises other than your group when you are staying there.

With access to over 2200 sq feet, a spacious first floor, and 4 large bedrooms on the second floor, there's enough space for everyone to have their own space!

The driveway can park up to 7 cars. Street parking is discouraged but allowed if needed. I ask guests to try to fit all cars in the driveway.

Other things to note
Depending on the length of your stay and/or usage of hot tub we may need to come and service the hot tub every couple of days during your stay. This can be done with out entering your rented space :)

Neighborhood highlights

It's a very quiet, small neighborhood and full of kind people but people keep to themselves. There shouldn't be any reason to have to interact or socialize with the neighbors as everyone has a lot of property/ space. There is a lot of wildlife here including deer, coyotes, bunnies, fox, hawks, cranes and many bird varieties. There is also a healthy frog, butterfly and bee population!
