Quiet apartment in the 18th with two bedrooms. Building clean and save. Nice environment with many shops, bakeries, cafes and restaurants. I felt fun to be around the neighborhood/
The apartment is a great place to be based, as others have said. Our son loved staying in the child's bedroom - everything there was perfect.
If you're used to a double bed then you may find the bed in Rafael's room a tad small. Other than that we had a great stay.
Wifi was good, coffee maker a real treat and there's a lead into the stereo to plug your iPod into.
Rafael was very helpful before we booked, giving us advice on a health food shop nearby and let us stay in the apartment a bit longer on the day we needed to leave. It's easy to get to and from CDG, a couple of changes on the Metro then easy enough from Gare du Nord.
Rafael was a great host (and has excellent English) and gave great recs for local restaurants. His apartment had a great location close to the Jules Joffrin stop, with a mini view of the Sacré Coeur Basilica. Everything was well furnished and clean. We loved his collection of books and Sacha the goldfish. His son's room was a great throwback to childhood. We would be happy to stay there again.
Great location and Rafael was very amenable to a last-minute booking, which was fantastic for us, being somewhat disorganised... There was some trick with the shower which we couldn't figure out, leading to slightly chilly washes, but perhaps that was our own stupidity and unfamiliarity with continental plumbing. Otherwise exceptionally comfortable and a friendly and solicitous host - just what we'd been after!
Everything in that place is pretty fine from nice location (10 minutes walking to Sacre Coeur, 20 minutes to Louvre by metro) to nice apartments. Big thanks to Rafael for this accommodation.
The flat is comfortable and well equipped with all you might (website hidden) is very good located with some supermarkets nearby and the metro station jules joffrin is also very (website hidden) daughter liked staying in a real children's room. The elevator is very parisien i think (Not for people that are scared of tiny cabins. :-) )Was a very nice and pleasant stay.
