This is a lovely spacious home overlooking the ocean in Bravos De Boston on the north shore of Vieques. It has magnificent Atlantic ocean views including the islands of Culebra and mainland Puerto Rico, with constant trade winds almost always in the 80's year round. Stunning sunrise and sunsets can be viewed while relaxing on the deck. Easy walk to several cozy beaches. The best surfing on the island is across the street from the house as well as great snorkeling.
The house is located in the safest and most sought after neighborhood on the island and a 5 minute walk to Isabel Segunda with shops, groceries, bank, restaurants, bakeries, the ferry et al. Only about 15 minute ride from the airport, Esperanza, the Bioluminescent Bay and the many Caribbean beaches. Over all, Vieques has over 50 beaches (Atlantic and Caribbean).

The property was exactly as described. It was in a great location in Isabel II, you could walk to the main part of town and the ferry dock. Everything was clean and perfect for us - we were 4 adults and 1 child. The view was amazing and we found it very comfortable for lazy mornings and late nights. Rene was very helpful in getting us oriented to the property and to Vieques. Ann was very responsive to my inquiries and followed up also after we had settled in.
This was a great experience. Rene picked us up from the airport, gave us a quick tour of the local area and ensured we were setup in the house. The house was as described in the add. It has amazing views from the balcony and everything is within 15 minutes drive. Thanks again for the great experience!! A++
This was our first time using air B&B. We were excited to try something new! Overall it was ok. Rene was a little hard to get ahold of. When we arrived on the island he walked down the hill to pick us up...later I concluded he'd (email hidden) drinking. We got a brief overview, which was ok since it was late. He turned on all the air conditioners...only to find many of the windows were open in the morning. We have a family of 5 & I mentioned we only have towels for 4 people. He said ok & I never saw or heard from him until the text about checkout at 11. We were taking the 11 ferry...so I placed the dirty towels in the tub. I loaded the dishwasher, looked for dishwasher soap, found none & realized the dishwasher didn't work. If I was to compare this property to a similar B & B that we stayed in Rincon, PR...that property was well maintained, plenty of towels, hand soap, small shampoo ect. & breakfast. I wasn't expecting breakfast...but there wasn't soap to wash our hands in the bathroom. I think your property has a lot of potential but needs a bit of TLC.
I hope you try AirBnB again. I use it all over the world. You get a very different experience than a hotel. Each home expresses the culture of the area. The ferry is a short walk from the house and Rene was not just sitting in a bar :-) :-). All of the little bar/eateries by the ferry look like a beach bar. But they serve family food and every one sits in them waiting for the ferry to come and go.
Shame on Rene' for having AC on and windows open! That costs me $$$.I have spoken with Rene' and he sincerely apologizes for the towel mix up. As you had his # and mine, you might have let us know to get on it ASAP! Please, ALL guests communicate to your hosts and staff WHEN an issue is at hand. We are a full service check in and out. Thus guests can leave laundry where they drop it on the floor and leave dishes where ever for Rene'.
We do not advertise shampoo or breakfast. The soap should have been in place and Rene' has been informed. Again, I cant stress this enough. Rene is only a couple of miles from the property..... just TEXT him any time...I need towels, I need soap, where do you suggest we walk to breakfast, etc.
As I too am a traveler, I do not hesitate to reach out to my hosts for any assistance. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE every traveler communicate and you will have a much happier stay wherever you go. No host likes to read about unhappy experiences after the fact, ever. Especially ones we could have sorted in 5 minutes....so frustrating for us. We are here to help....ask!
Safe Travels to us all.... and lets continue to explore new places and see new faces :-)
Ann has an amazing place in Vieques. Breathtaking views of the ocean and the condo where we stayed was clean, comfortable and has great vibes. Rene was very helpful and knowledgable of the island. Will recommend this place to anyone traveling to Vieques
Gracious caretaker Rene greeted us at the ferry and drove us to pick up groceries before dropping us off at the villa. He also took the time to walk us though the house and explain all that we needed to know and responded immediately to any queries during our stay. The villa is spacious, clean, is set back from the road with a stunning view of the ocean. It's peaceful, relaxing and restorative. Unfortunately there were no cars available to rent on the island - but to be honest, we didn't need one. We could walk to to the town center - which had some great eateries and shops - and took a taxi to the other side of the Island. We had a magical kayak tour in bio bay with 'Dondi', who kindly offered to drive us back to the villa after the tour. Thanks so much for a great stay and introduction to the beautiful island of Vieques.
It's a really beautiful and large house! My friends and I had a great experience in Vieques!
We had a wonderful time at Ann's place! The views were spectacular from the balcony, the beach was peaceful and secluded, easy walk into town to enjoy the restaurants, bars and a little shopping. The home was clean, comfortable and very spacious! Everything was very easy and welcoming!

About the Host, Ann
We first traveled to Vieques about 12 years ago and fell in love with this tiny laid back island. We have had our home there since that first visit! We never grow tired of going back there and so as often as possible. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
