Located in the centre of Clerkenwell, an area steeped in history which is now home to many leading creative and design businesses. The train and tube hub at Farringdon Station is only a minute’s walk away, providing quick and easy access to all parts of London, just one tube stop to St Pancras International (Eurostar) and a direct train link to Gatwick airport.

A variety of restaurants and pubs are also close-by including well known establishments St John, Hix Oyster and Chop House, Moro, Bleeding Heart Yard and original gastro pub The Eagle. On Cowcross Street you will find Italian trattorias, coffee shops and a Marks & Spencer supermarket for when you want to eat at home. Hatton Garden - London's jewellery quarter – and sites of cultural interest such as St Paul's Cathedral, Smithfield and the Barbican Theatre are all within easy walking distance.

  • My husband and I stayed in one of these apartments on our honeymoon and really enjoyed the proximity to the tube - it was easy to get around all of London. The apartments are spacious (for 2 people), super clean, and cozy - free laundry in the basement and a hairdryer in the apartment were nice bonuses. Customer service was great - the front desk person was kind enough to let us leave our luggage on checkout day because our flight didn't leave until the evening and we didn't want to drag it around with us in the interim. There are tons of places to eat/drink in the area! All said and done I gave 4 stars because there were a few things I would have liked to know prior to staying, although I would definitely come back!:

    (website hidden) around the building - it was a lot at the time of this post, and its very noisy during the day. It wasn't a huge issue as we were out most days, but the mornings were loud starting at 6am, and on the day we chose to stick around and relax it was ongoing.
    2. The layout of the apartment - great for people who are on the exact same schedules and/or sleep heavily, but not for people who are light sleepers. The bathroom is directly off the bedroom and the toilet flush is incredibly loud. I sleep like the dead and it even woke me up. Additionally, the bedroom has no door to separate it from the rest of the house, so if someone is trying to sleep while the other person is up, they can hear everything and they don't have the option to block out lights.
    3. there is a fussy neighbor in the building next door that complains frequently, so if you are hoping to have people over, expect complaints to be called in. We were complained about on our first night and we didn't even do anything but have a tv on until 11pm... real party animals!
    4. Most things are closed on the weekends - This area seems to be very business oriented so many of the restaurants and pubs closed down for the weekend. We had to go farther to get food, which is not the fault of the property, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time.

    As a side note - make sure to ask for a 2nd keycard because each apartment's electricity is controlled by inserting the keycard into a slot in the apartment. If you remove the card (which you need to do in order to come and go) the whole place shuts off. Which means if one person stays and one leaves, the person staying is without power or light.

  • The apartment is completely modern, and the laundry in the basement was a nice to have. Loved the wall of windows. The only downside is that there was construction every morning. I would give it 5 stars if the crane and noise were not a factor.
