We were raised in Annapolis and Gualala and know the area very well. We would be more than happy to help you plan your stay.
We expect that our guests treat our cabin kindly.
Check-in is at 3pm. Check-out is at 1pm.
Please no smoking inside the cabin. Outside on the porch is okay.
Please keep in mind that we do not provide food (such as breakfast) and we do not provide hygiene products (shampoo, conditioner, etc). We do however, provide cleaning products, wash cloths, towels, and a complimentary bottle of wine.
Before you check out please leave the hot tub at 80 degrees (to conserve energy) and pull the sheets from off the bed. The trash cans are outside as well.
One last thing. Cell phone service is sparse in the area! The only carrier that seems to somewhat work is Verizon.
Thank You! If you have any questions feel free to contact me or my sister Evelyn.
This cottage was exactly what we were looking for! The pictures did not do justice to how big and beautiful the cabin is. Very quiet, off the main road, and completely stocked with everything from the kitchen, to games in the cupboard, to warm fuzzy blankets to cuddle up on the comfy couch. My pug Maeby loved the warm deck. It was so nice to unwind and relax. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch and the hot tub worked great! It was our first AirBnB experience and we would definitely recommend to friends in the future.
The cottage is absolutely lovely. From the setting in the Redwoods to the hot tub, you can't go wrong. This is the perfect spot for a quiet getaway. Don't expect to get much cell service or to have wifi access -- but that's all part of the charm! Our only disappointment was that a bottle of wine was advertised as among the amenities, but there was none to be found. We hope the owner will amend her property description if she does not plan to offer this in the future.
After some last minute planning for a winemaker's dinner at the Sea Ranch Lodge, I needed to find a place in the area to spend the night. Jenny's cottage looked perfect, and it was just a few miles away. We showed up, and I was in love with the place from the moment I laid eyes on it. Isolated, a bit back from the road, this place is a great spot if you're looking to "escape it all" and spend some time enjoying nature away from the hustle and bustle of the city. My only regret is that I only reserved this space for one night only.
The reservation was canceled 9 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
This sweet rustic home was as described, and Jenny was very great about communicating. It was very cozy and accommodating. The location was in a private rural area, so there was some traffic, but still felt very private, and it was so close to town.
Directions to the cottage were clear and when we arrived, the place was very clean. Loved that the hot tub was ready for use and that the backyard was completely fenced in for my dog. The half bottle of wine was a great touch! :) I would definitely stay here again.
This little cottage is the perfect getaway from the city! Gorgeous surroundings in the middle of the woods. My boyfriend and I stayed for my birthday weekend and had a fabulous time.
The cottage was perfect and was as described. Our host Jenny provided everything we needed, even a bottle of wine, which was a nice touch.
The bed was comfortable and hot tub on the back deck was a nice treat. I can't wait for my next stay at Jenny's cottage!

Hello! I'm a California native that grew up in the small town of Gualala, a town known for its spectacular oceanfront views, trails, locally owned coffee shops, restaurants and not to mention the friendly locals. I now live in Washington DC and work in the area of international development.
I enjoy travelling to other places and meeting people along the way. I love the great outdoors, especially hiking!
