L'accueil de Colette a été fantastique. Petit déjeuner gargantuesque et film en Français !
Petit bémol par contre, je trouve que l'hébergement, ainsi que le quartier, ne justifient pas un tel prix...
John and Colette's was a very cute basic accommodation that suited our laid back lifestyle. they were excellent hosts and really helped us get a feel for Bajan living.
John and Colette were excellent hosts. We only planned on staying for 2 nights, but felt so welcomed that we decided to stay for 10 extra days. The house is covered with greenery so you have a lot of privacy. The "shack" is a perfect, cozy, room for 2 people. We cooked a lot of meals in the kitchen in the room. They gave us great tips on how to explore the island and let us use their goggles and boogie board for the beach. They even shared their DVD collection with us so we could watch films in our room at night.
For New Years they also let us invite friends over to have a cookout on their porch. We really felt at home while we were here. John and Colette always asked how our days were and that we had everything we needed.
If we ever come back to Barbados we will definitely stay with them again.
John & Colette were fantastic hosts. They know how to make you feel 100% welcome and taken care of, while still leaving you with the freedom to explore on your own and get the most out of your stay in Barbados. There's no way I would've had half as much fun staying around the Gap or other tourist hot spots as I did at Le Shack. When I come back to Barbados, I will definitely stay with John & Colette again.
Had a fantastic time. What a great place to experience the true Bajan hospitality. John and Colette were great host. We will definitely go back.
