All about Cecilia’s place

The snake period is a charming and newly renovated cottage from the 19th century that belongs to the farm Salshult. It is completely secluded but still close to the highway, with streams, small fields and cherry trees all around. It is close to two lakes; Galten and Saljen with great opportunities for swimming and fishing. Access to boat by appointment. Stenberga, 3 km away, has a grocery store and café. The area, also known as Småland's garden, is very beautiful with a small broken friendly landscape with interesting flora.

The space
The house you dispose of is about 85 square meters and has two and a half rooms and a kitchen. Outdoor there is a barbecue and outdoor furniture and a garden with plenty of play. When you rent the house you also have access to 2 adult bicycles with the possibility of children's nobility and 3 children's bicycles of different sizes.

Where you’ll be

Vetlanda SO, Jönköpings län, Sweden

In the nearest village Stenberga there is a cozy country shop with everything you need for everyday life and parties. By shopping there, you allow us to keep the store. There is also a nice café Lovisen that will take you back to another time. There is a lot to experience here in Småland's garden - especially connected to nature. Högarp has a nature and culture reserve that offers an incredible flora, especially during the high summer and also gives you an image of an older cultivated landscape. In Näshult you will find the nice restaurant At Sara and Mats and across the lake you can eat and enjoy Wallby in beautiful Skirö. This is Småland for real - as it also looks in Astrid Lindgren's world, which is about 60 km away, and is a fun visit for both big and small.
