Welcome to enjoy beautiful Lake Sunapee area, the home is located less than one mile to the Harbor with boats, restaurants, pub, and concerts in the summertime. Enjoy music in Sunapee bring a blanket and enjoy.
In the winter Sunapee becomes a winter paradise, for skiing, snowboarding enthusiasts, we are 3 miles away from Sunapee Mountain ski resort. Cross country skiing is available on groomed trails within a mile away. If you are on a budget feel free to use the kitchen to prepare yourself a sandwich, to bring with you to the mountain. Easy living at it's best. Internet connection available, no TV we have plenty of parking. The room has real bed and shared bathroom. If you have children with you they could possibly sleep on the couch, if you have a tent the they could sleep outside, I have tried that with Grandchildren they always come back in, that has never worked for me. We are accommodating.
The area is very quiet, no traffic or noise. No cats or dogs live here at the home. Enjoy the patio overlook the mountains and ski hill unless the trees have their leaves out in full glory. My home is my Castle not very luxurious, but comfortable local neighborhood. You can expect to enjoy a quiet casual environment. Kitchen needs to be updated by today's standards, but it works well, use it.
There is no public transit available, one could take a bus from Boston airport to New London, and arrange for pick up there. Train arrives in Claremont NH once a day 26KM or 16 miles. We are two hours drive from Boston.

Berit was very welcoming and accommodating. The house was ready for my arrival and even included a jumbo bottle of drinking water and a chocolate chip cookie the size of your hand! The bed was VERY comfortable and the bedding was first class. Bathroom was clean and everything worked. Berit communicated very well as well. My questions and inquiries were answered in a timely fashion.
I would recommend staying at Berit's place to all Airbnb users!
This was an excellent experience. Beirut was welcoming and we felt very comfortable staying here. The location was beautiful and the house was neat and comfortable and exactly as described.
Berit was very nice and helped me find things around the area. She was very helpful and made sure I had everything that I needed.
Berit was extremely accommodating and responsive. I was looking for a place to stay between Boston and my home in Northern Vermont. Berit's place fit the bill perfectly--that bed was a little slice of heaven when I arrived at 1am. Berit was not there but provided clear communication with directions and also followed up with a phone call with details. I appreciated the handwritten note that was placed on the front door saying "Julie's Place" with a smiley face. I departed the next morning by 7am. Would gladly stay again if I needed to break up the trip home from Boston. Thanks, Berit!
Our visit to Berit's home was simple and convenient. The bed was very comfortable, the location was quiet and beautiful, and she clearly went out of her way to provide "extras" like local brochures, toiletries, and coffee. We were only in town one night for a wedding, and while this was a great option for such a short visit, it would also be lovely for a quiet weekend away.
I found Berit's posting for my parents who needed a central base as they took off around NH visiting family, friends, and the sites. They had a very pleasant stay, enjoyed the Sunapee area, and for the modest rate, thought that Berit's lodgings perfectly satisfied their needs.
I am European, and have lived in Sunapee a few years, I travel to other destinations whenever there is a trip that seems enticing, I enjoy to go to warmer destinations in the winter. Semi retired with lots of creative ambitions, a new prospective on life i enjoy every moment, smell the flowers, enjoy my family, enjoy life to it's fullest. Some of the things I can't live without would be family, friends, and smiling toothless children! One of my favorite movies would have to be The Bucket List, places and wishes to see and do before you kick the bucket!
