  • Berit was very welcoming. The place was cozy and clean. It was a nice getaway. She made us waffles one morning which was extra sweet of her.

    Response from Berit:

Thank you, you are welcome back to get away from the city anytime.

  • We had a lovely time staying at Berit's home! She was a gracious host who showed us around town, recommended day trips and prepared a delicious breakfast. It made for a wonderful home base during our New Hampshire vacation.

    Best Berit

  • We had an incredible stay in Sunapee, Berit is an amazing lady and an excellent host. I doubt we would have made the most of our one day in Sunapee if we'd stayed anywhere else. The weather was beautiful during our stay and Berit leant us her kayak so we could take it out on the lake which we loved! She even popped down to the harbour with us for a little picnic in the sunshine!

Berit's home is beautiful and our room was perfect; really homely and the bed was super comfy. I don't think we slept so well in months! The location is great too, just a few minutes away from the harbour and we had a great evening at The Anchorage where they do tasty food and a great quiz on Thursday nights!

I would highly recommend staying here, we've been away for a while now and this has been one of our most memorable experiences! Thank you so much Berit!!!

  • We enjoyed our stay in Berit's home, and it was nice to be so close to the lovely lakeside town of Sunapee. The bed was quite comfortable and we thank Berit for providing a relaxing evening on the back deck with the tea and snacks.

    Response from Berit:

Great to eat to have you as guests, hope to have contact in the future. Thanks again.

  • Very hospitable. I've stayed at Berit's for two years now while exhibiting at annual local craft show. The room is always clean and comfortable. She has great recommendations for local attractions or restaurants. She even had coffee and treats waiting for me upon arrival and for breakfast. I plan to stay there again next year.

Semi retired.
I am European, and have lived in Sunapee a few years, I travel to other destinations whenever there is a trip that seems enticing, I enjoy to go to warmer destinations in the winter. Semi retired with lots of creative ambitions, a new prospective on life i enjoy every moment, smell the flowers, enjoy my family, enjoy life to it's fullest. Some of the things I can't live without would be family, friends, and smiling toothless children! One of my favorite movies would have to be The Bucket List, places and wishes to see and do before you kick the bucket! I am an avid traveler and spend time taking pictures, my trips lately has been visiting Spain, Norway, Florida, California,Mexico the Mayan Pyramids, and Hawaii. i enjoy having guest from all walk of life, and all over the world visiting, and share the beauty of Sunapee Dartmouth region. here we have wintersport skiing and snowboarding and in the summer we have the lake with boating, I belong to Lake Sunapee Rowing team. i take great enjoyment in helping you find places less traveled. I consider my self a fun and interesting host. Photography, Archery, is hobbies I enjoy and quilting is something I enjoy for creativity. I have traveled the Camino in Northeren Spain a memorable experience. As a guest I am a casual one. My travel style is "Nothing to declare"
