Isabelle ha sido muy amable, nos contacto y nos espero para nuestro recibimiento. Nos explico como era el barrio, como manejarnos y nos dio guia para nuestra ubicacion. Realmente ha sido muy correcta y amable.
Sweet, thoughtful and welcoming hosts. The apartment is one floor above street level, on a smaller street, in an active and friendly neighborhood. Excellent windows allow you to choose street sounds or quiet. Only 1 block from a very useful Metro stop (Odeon), and just a few blocks from Notre Dame, the islands in the Seine, and other Metro stops. As the pictures show, the apartment is charmingly fresh while in a centuries-old building. We'll be back!
Isabelle was wonderful! Great flat in the Latin Quarter. Lovely part of paris, safe and secure flat, we would return again!
If location were the only criteria, this locale is both perfect and annoyingly loud. The night life 20 yard from the flat goes on until 5:00 AM most nights.
This is a one bedroom place, and not comfortable for a long stay. We stayed three months.
The hosts were kind people.
We did have other issues, and the list is quite long. Because of our long stay, some situations were negatively exacerbated. The low furniture and small bedroom was not comfortable for big people.nthe kitchen was adequate, but the chairs around the dining table were not comfortable. In fact, with the exception of the low couch, there really was no place to relax.
finally, it was hot in Paris; up to 103 degrees F. The nights did not cool down until 3:00 AM. With no fans or air conditioning, and the noise in the street if you opened the windows, it made for a week's worth of sleepless nights.
All in all, not a pleasant stay, but the district and location of the flat might be ideal for a few days, and a younger, smaller couple.
Staying in this apartment was a key part of the success of our Paris family holiday - the location in the heart of St Germain is unbeatable, the high ceilings and huge windows make the main room feel very light even though there is almost no noise from the street, and Isabelle was a great host, welcoming us on arrival, and enabling us to store our luggage on our day of departure. There's also loads of information in the apartment on things to see and do in Paris. All in all a great base for our trip and would definitely recommend it!
