Art galleries are gathering in the rue Mazarine and the ones around. Antiques bookshops are a local major.
Walking distance to all great touristic sites. ( 10mn from Notre Dame, 10mn from the Louvre, 10mn from La Sorbonne and magnificent Jardin du Luxembourg and Museum ) Not far from Beaubour Tour Eiffel, Musée d'Orsay. direct métro line to Montmartre or Montparnasse.

Staying in this apartment was a key part of the success of our Paris family holiday - the location in the heart of St Germain is unbeatable, the high ceilings and huge windows make the main room feel very light even though there is almost no noise from the street, and Isabelle was a great host, welcoming us on arrival, and enabling us to store our luggage on our day of departure. There's also loads of information in the apartment on things to see and do in Paris. All in all a great base for our trip and would definitely recommend it!
Great location, great hosts, and great overall experience. Isabelle and her husband were very accommodating and friendly, giving us some great suggestions on where to go and making it easy to store bags before checking and after check out.
The apartment is super cozy and the sofa bed is quite comfortable. The location is in easy walking distance of all the major attractions, and has easy access to the crazy public transit system.
The apartment was exactly as it appears on the website and was immaculate. The "6eme" area was absolutely ideal for what we wanted. Everywhere was easy to get to and the bars and bistrots near the apartment were fabulous.

Great location, nicely appointed apartment. From a travellers perspective it would have been more appropriate to have a small welcome package provided rather than all the leftovers from previous guests. Hosts were helpful, internet and TV had to be reset when dropping out occured which was frequent. Overall a good experience just a bit of attention to detail required as this is an investement apartement, not somebodys home.
Isabelle und Etienne sind perfekte Gastgeber. Schon vor unserer Anreise lief die Kommunikation sehr gut und bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen und mit allen notwendigen Informationen versorgt. Die Wohnung entspricht genau den Abbildungen, ist hell, gepflegt, groß genug für 4 Personen und war angenehm geheizt. Die Lage ist perfekt, fußläufig zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten, schöne Cafes, Restaurants und Geschäfte um die Ecke.
About the Host, Isabelle
A family of three, plus she-cat Tiddy, the owner are Parisian born in the precint and live in the around 1630 built mansion in which your 1rst level appartment is located. Antiquarian bookshop at street level was founded by owner's father after WWII.
After 30 years of carreer as a judge and prosecutor at Court owner retired and started this rental business four years ago with help of her husband Etienne, a lawyer, and 23 years old son Gabriel, a student in design.
Everybody speak English, and Etienne is fluent in German as well.
