What can I say beyond the other glowing reviews on this apartment….I also had an amazing two week stay here. The descriptions and pictures are spot on.
It is a very pretty, soothing space and I loved waking up to the spectacular views everyday.
Perfectly equipped for day to day living, it was also thoughtfully set up with key staples for my arrival. The location also, is exactly what I was looking for…safe, convenient to several metros, walkable to other key districts, grocery store just around the corner, lots of bustling bistros and cafes, several excellent restaurants, and very near the rue des Martyrs – a fabulous local shopping street – charming and traditional – a food lover’s paradise.
Aside from the great access and all of these wonderful amenities, Gregoire and Robert are fabulous hosts. Gregoire was always kind and accommodating and truly cares that you are having a great visit. Such a nice bonus! Thank you again Gregoire and Robert – au revoir and I hope to return! ☺
We had problems with our flight but a quick text to our host ensured that they knew of our problems and were waiting for us when we arrived --late!
The flat was wonderful ,everything as described and more. Lift is tiny but it was great to have and we managed by judicious positioning of our luggage to get it all up in one go.
The flat is in a fantastic area full of bars, bistros and cafes. we were spoiled for choice.
This has been a wonderful two week stay at the beautiful rooftop apartment of Gregoire and Robert. It is brilliantly central, we have walked everywhere- to the Louvre, to Montmartre, to the Marais - and it is so close to the Opera Garnier and Galleries Lafayette and many of the beautiful covered galleries like the Passage Jouffree. The Apartment is sweet - not huge but comfortable and clean and safe. Gregoire and Robert have been extraordinary hosts, we have loved every minute of this experience and thank them for it.
Grégoire & Robert's rooftops are so nice, clean and comfortable for us (two person). Fully equipped maybe you have to bring only toothbrush.
Great location; Montmartre, Louvre, so many great place to go in walking distance. You can easily use Metro, Bus and taxi.
Many market and restaurant around the building so you won't be in trouble to get any food and supplies.
As you can find in many reviews, Grégoire and Robert are so kind and provide us great support for foreigners like us who didn't use white goods in France.
This is a fantastic, beautiful flat in a great neighborhood that we recommend without hesitation. Robert and Gregoire were wonderful hosts- very quick with feedback, great advice for things to do in the area, and very thoughtful with how the flat is set up. It was exactly as described and we loved trying out the bakeries and restaurants in the area. While some reviews noted some street noise, we thought it was amazingly quiet in the flat. It was the perfect spot for our romantic Paris honeymoon!
We spent a month at Romantic Rooftops in Paris which was exactly what we were looking for. Location was perfect-we could walk almost everywhere touristy, lots of local choice for grocery shopping, public transit was available a block in any direction. Robert and Gregoire were very helpful with information before our stay and during our stay, gave us a great introduction to the locale, and had the fridge stocked with essentials before our arrival. Very thoughtful hosts! Highly recommended.
The apartment was very nice. We loved the abundance of natural light, fresh air and amazing city views with all the balconies. Shades covered up the night lights and surprisingly the windows cut out the noise for good nighttime sleeping. We felt right at home living amongst the locals in Paris. The listing is accurate and the pictures are as imagined. The location offered good access to transportation. This was our first time using airbnb and we were not disappointed. We did our research and chose this apartment based on the description and the reviews, which were all good and spot on. Gregoire was very pleasant, helpful, and accommodating (recommendations, availability, and specials requests like borrowing his electrical adapter which we forgot). We were very happy with our choice.
