Very bright apartment located in the heart of Old Rosemont. Tastefully furnished and well equipped. 2 balconies. The back one, overlooking a leafy garden and a typical Montreal alley, is equipped with a table and chairs, perfect for an outside meal. The bedroom has a very comfortable double bed. The living room is equipped with cable TV and a small desk. Bedding and towels are included. Wireless internet. There is a Laundromat a couple of steps away down the street.
The apartment is very welcoming. Cleanliness is a priority for us.
The flat is located in Old Rosemont, a central neighbourhood of Montreal. People say that it is like a little village within a city. Everything you need is at a walkable distance. You will discover the lively Masson Street, with its many cafés, bars, good restaurants and gourmet grocery stores.
Interaction with Guests
Victor, our little Jeremie and I live in the same building than the one in which your apartment is located. We are therefore very available if you would ever need our help. We would also be very happy to share our little secrets about the city with you, from the best restaurants to the best places to go out. We are simply in love with our neighbourhood and we will be happy to make you discover it. More and more families, students and professionals are moving in this developing part town. Here, you will discover the authentic Montreal, with its typical alleys and its spiral staircases. We will do everything in our power to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Old Rosemont is one of the most typical neighbourhoods of the city. Very safe and calm but also alive and animated. You will discover its many cafes, terraces, good restaurants, cool bars and gourmet grocery stores.
Access to public transport is very convenient. There is a bus stop a couple of steps from the front door. You can get to the nearest metro station in about 10 minutes and downtown in about 20 minutes. If you are driving, you can easily find free parking spaces in the street in front or nearby.

A few basic rules
-Please try to keep it down after 11pm
-No smoking inside
-If you cook, please do not use knives on the counter nor the side table. Rather, you can use the cutting board.
-When you leave the apartment :
oPlease wash your dishes
oYou can leave sheets and towels on the floor or on the bed
-To connect to our network, select “airbnb-Visiteur”
-The password is: wifi02
-You can park on Dandurand just in front (60 min. max on weekdays) or on the streets nearby.
-Make sure to read all the signs. The controllers are pretty vicious
-To go downtown, you can take the bus # 67 on the corner of Saint-Michel and Dandurand, on this side of the street (or express #467 on the corner of Saint-Michel and Masson) to the metro station Joliette (green line). The bus # 47 passes on Masson and goes to Laurier metro station (orange line).
oYou can pay cash in the bus (3$) or buy passes at the metro station
-There is also, on the corner of Dandurand and 9th avenue, a Bixi station (public Bikes)

Restaurants and groceries
-There is a grocery store right next door where you can find all the basics.
-For more specialized products, cafes, restaurants and bars, head to Rue Masson.
Victor and I bought the house a year ago. We live in the same building than the apt. that you will be living in. We just love our new neighborhood and are planning to stay here for many years! It is really growing and more and more young people are moving to this area: Students, families and young professionnals. We are expecting a baby and are really happy to be raising our little boy in this neighborhood!
We will be happy to share our little secrets about the city with you guys. We love to eat out so we have tons of suggestions for good restaurants, cafes and bars whatever you budget is.
You will see the real Montreal here. Not the one for tourists. There is more and more cute shops opening on Rue Masson and every time we get really excited!!
