Sleek open-space located in a tranquil courtyard of a XVI century building in the heart of the historical district. Recently renovated, it expresses the owners’ passion for design. The minimal and eclectic furniture characterizes the two large levels of this unique space which hosted photo shootings and art events. Loft92 owns a strategic position: a few meters away from Palermo’s main cultural hot spots and local nightlife attractions. The area is well served by public transportation and very well connected to the famous and beautiful beach of Mondello.

Loft92 is located in the historic center of beautiful Palermo on Via Maqueda, one of the most ancient boulevard in town. From the flat, it is an easy walk to Quattro Canti, Piazza Pretoria with the Fountain of Shame, the Churches of Martorana and San Cataldo the Cathedral, Palazzo dei Normanni, Palatine Chapel, and Teatro Massimo.
It's also in a great area for shopping, be it for fashion or food.
Is very well connected to the public service. Walking distance from the Train Station and from the Coach Station. So it's a great location if you plan to be visiting other little towns.
The bus stop is in front of the main entrance. Via Maqueda is a one direction boulevard, so you need to move one block in order to catch the bus to the other direction.
Other Things to Note
Parking in the courtyard is a plus.
Leave nice & clean and enjoy!
We were very satisfied with the Loft. Extremely well located in the very heart of Palermo. Walking distance from all the sights and next to the colorful market with great products. Barbara organized it for us to access the Loft a couple of hours earlier than normal which proved very practical. The fact that we could park the car in the courtyard is a major advantage both for safety and convenience. The loft is in a converted chapel of great beauty, and furnished with true Italian taste. A key advantage is the fact that it was so quiet in the courtyard and the Loft. The Loft contains everything you need for a short stay. An ideal place for summer stays when the temperatures soar, as it's position in the courtyard is shaded. The Loft was VERY clean and the bowl of strawberries on arrival was a delicate and much appreciated touch. Thank you so much Barbara for sharing your beautiful Loft. We will recommend it in the future to our friends who wish to visit this fascinating and lively city.
Staying at Barbara's loft was the absolute dream! The building, and courtyard it's set within, are both gorgeous - we were blown away. The architecture is beautiful, we felt like we'd come across a real gem. Barbara's relative met us late at night to let us in with our car, the whole arrival process was very smooth and easy. We were a stone's throw from all the best spots of Palermo, we especially loved the food market round the corner on Sunday morning. Check out was super easy and Barbara was contactable throughout. We would recommend this home to any one of our friends! Thank you Barbara.
Barbaba's place was wonderfully decorated, centrally located, and extremely comfortable. Liked the private carpark in the apartment.
Communication was smooth and Barbaba was extremely responsive. Checking in and out was efficient too.
Place is also convenient - next to sites and a fresh market nearby.
Barbara's cousins met us at the loft in Palermo - we made the mistake of renting a mid-size car at the airport and arrived later than planned. Word to the wise - get the smallest car, and don't use Google Maps! It's better to download the maps offline and manually route using what I call the "pinch and zoom" method. We ended up in the wrong part of town, but the cousins were patient and so we appreciated it so much!
The loft is located on the historic Via Maqueda, with secure parking and is just a few blocks from the open markets, shopping, and fantastic restaurants. I would suggest this home to anyone looking to explore Palermo's diverse and seemingly-treacherous streets, and although we never felt in any danger, it is a city all of its own and definitely worth exploring.
The loft itself is stunning. "The pictures don't do it justice" is such an overused phrase, but it cannot be overstated here. The loft is HUGE, clean, and tastefully appointed. There are two sets of huge steel and wood doors, one locking you in to the parking area, and the other for the loft. The neighbors here are friendly and helpful.
We did have some minor issues with the hot water, but it seems to be common throughout Italy and the directions left to remedy it were straightforward. Barbara was extremely communicative and patient regarding our changing schedule and late arrival. If you're going to stay in Palermo, STAY HERE!!! Thank you Barbara.
