I needed a place to sleep and have shower for 3 nights. Since I wasn't looking to pamper myself, the location and price were more important.
Deniece is friendly, the communication was good. Everything went according to plan. Her advice on local matters was helpful. I have requested an iron and an ironing board, and she was happy to help (it wasn't on the amenities list).
The flat has a very convenient location, 2 minutes walk from the Beurs metro stop. By metro it takes 2 stops (5 minutes) to Rotterdam Central and 5 stops to Zuidplein (Ahoy, North Sea Jazz, my destination). The bars and restaurants of Witte de Wittstraat are less than 5 minutes away.
Her room was clean, tidy and sunny (if you plan to sleep in, don't forget to draw the curtains!), the bed was comfy, wifi is available (intermittent though) there is a TV and a kettle in the room; a sunny balcony to drink your morning coffee (overlooking a car park).
Some people complained about the communal areas. Here is my take: true, at a 4-5* hotel the quality would be higher. But this is a student flat, with 5 girls living and studying there, not a hotel with janitors cleaning up every day. Therefore I've adjusted my expectations accordingly. It was fine.
Overall: I had a very pleasant experience, and I'd happily go back again.
