Welcome to Snottygobble House, a 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom, pet-friendly holiday house located in the historic timber town of Dwellingup.

The house has all the benefits of being in town, whilst you can literally walk out the back door and be in the state forest.

Whether you are looking for a quiet, relaxing escape from the city, or a crazy weekend of mountain biking, kayaking and bush walking, this is the perfect place to stay.

The space
In winter, we have a cosy log fire inside the house and an outside fire pit for toasting marshmallows.

We also have air-conditioning to keep the house cool in summer. And there are plenty of beautiful swimming holes to explore in the surrounding area.

We have a fully-equipped kitchen if you would like to self-cater, or there are a number of places to eat in town.

You will need to bring your own bed linen (pillow cases, sheets and quilt covers) and towels. Quilts, pillows and tea towels are provided.

Please note we intentionally do not have a television or WIFI at the house. We have plenty of board games and books.

Where you’ll be

We love exploring the many swimming holes in the river at Lane Poole Reserve, or at Scarp Pool. It is a 15 minute drive from Snottygobble House to Lane Poole Reserve.

There are also plenty of mountain bike and walking trails available in the area. And canoeing and white-water rafting, depending on the season.

You can also go for a train ride with Hotham Valley Railway. In winter, you have the option of riding on the steam train.
