Right in the center of Dublin, very safe and quiet.
Comes with closed bedroom, closed bathroom, living room, kitchen.
I am renting out my apartment from time to time, while traveling out of the city; sometimes, I host couchsurfers. You can write me in french, spanish, chinese, or japanese.
The bus to and from Dubin Airport stop right in front of the apartment building. The location is right in the city center, 5 minutes walk from O'Connell bridge, 2 minute walk from the Spire. Internet is available on request (I'll lend you a SIM card for your unlocked smartphone or a USB stick for mobile broadband).
It's quiet because the windows open on the private courtyard at the back of the building.
It's safe because I've never seen any crime here since moving in over a year ago. I am also an expert in martial arts and can show you some self-defense for your adventures in more dodgy parts.
The building is called The Joyce. It's part of the Gresham House complex, next to the Church of Ireland, the Dublin Institue of Technology, Gresham Hotel, the Parnell Monument.

Please get in touch to see if we're a mutual fit. It's very easy to get in touch, I have constant email access and also use (website hidden). I will tell you everything there is to know about this place.
This is as central in Dublin as it gets, you have access to EVERYTHING.
Interaction with Guests
I will try to give you the keys on the first day, and be away the rest of the time.
This is the city center proper.
You will have the entire apartment to yourself, since I only rent it out while traveling.
In short, I'm very easy going. If you have special request, please let me know; I will do my best to accomodate. Feel free to email or call me.
You can do your own laundry, I provide detergent.
You can use the fridge. You can cook. I provide condiments only.
The bedsheets are clean when you arrive. There is plenty of room to store your luggages.
The host was great. He was a wealth of information and helped us a lot. The neighborhood is literally right in the city centre. The place was clean and had everything we needed.
Jia was wonderful. Completely helpful and answered so many questions we had about the city (transit, places to eat, things to see, etc). The location was perfect for our stay and the accommodations were just what we needed. This was our first airbnb experience and it was a very positive one indeed. Thanks so much, Jia, for everything!
Jia is a great host! His flat is easy to reach from the airport by a single bus. The flat is also as central as it can be and it is nice and cosy. There is no central wifi in the flat but you can borrow USB stick from Jia and charge it. Even though Jia was travelling and was out of the city when we were in Dublin we had no problems and he answered all our questions and messages really quickly. I would definitely recommend Jia as a host!
We had great time in this apartment! It's located near the Spire, bus and Luas stops and at walk distance from many turistic attractions. The host was available all the time to help us. It's not a small apartment and we had no problems in getting into the flat or leave, even the host not being in the city. I would recomend this accomodation.
Nice & little apartment right next to O'Connell Street. Plenty of shops around the area, handy public transport that takes you everywhere (including the airport) in a very short time. Quite neighborhood.
Jia was very helpful and communicative from the very beginning. He gave us all kind of tips & hints before our trip and was also very friendly, making sure that we had a pleasant stay.
Highly recommended if you intend to spend a few days in Dublin and you don't want to stay too far away from the city center. Jia will make you feel at home!
I work on solving problems, such as how to better use the limited resources on this planet. In the past, I have lived in Shanghai, Montreal, California, Tokyo, and Paris. I try to be a considerate guest and host.
