We had a great one-week stay. Friendly hosts and beautiful scenery. Lots of charming villages and markets nearby, some great hikes too - highly recommend the hike to Tour Le Pin and Gorge d'Heric. Our baby daughter loved the place and getting to see the animals too :) We loved the place and will hopefully return one day.

Kiet's yurt is a fun, lovely place to stay in the French wilderness. It's set among beautiful scenery and the views are breathtaking. Perfect for a get-away, secluded holiday. Kiet was very friendly and helpful given that we couldn't arrive to check-in until later than ideal.

Very welcoming, great communication from Kiet, such a wonderful setting. It was such a great experience to stay in the Yurt and get away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely wine regions and little villages nearby. The chestnut festival on at the time was a nice touch. Would highly recommend it for anyone!

We stayed in this yurt from 19-23 October 2016 The yurt; it's just as Kiet described it and It looks just like the pictures. Cozy and minimal. Is's beautiful. We stayed in October so it was kind of freezing. We burned the wood stove ( he reached us how to make a fire so that we could use it since we never used it) and got extra blankets. No wifi, but yes electricity. We could charge our phones for emergencies. I would definitely recommend it, but for myself; I would go earlier, because I'm always freezing. But you get a whole barrel of wood and you can buy extra, you can get extra blankets. You get a big can of fresh spring water which you can get yourselfs ( I really liked this; FRESH spring water!) The surrounding; IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL! It hurt my heart to leave. So, SO beautiful! There is a town on a 15 minute drive and a water-spring in the neighborhood so you can get your own fresh water! There are amazing walks and little towns ( note; Please do some research for your own - we did not know the French only serve lunch between like 12-13. If you wanted to lunch at 14 o clock you had a bad time. Or if you just wanted to drink coffee at 12. They told us to leave. ( this is about restaurants and cafe's - not Kiet, just clarifying) My recommendations; * if you are in for a road trip, and a city; go to Montpellier * if you are in for good (vegan) food and coffee in Montpellier; (URL HIDDEN) We also found an amazing pizza-place but I forgot the name, I will update if I can remember The renter; Great english and super attentive! AND he has the cutest two dogs! And a beautiful cat. Do you love nature, if you love 'camping', if you love going back to basics; Seriously; GO HERE!

We had a great time in the Yurt. The pictures give a truly view. The place is beautiful, the views are stunning and the yurt is in real life even more spacious than the pictures tell. Kiet is the most friendly and welcoming host. We were prepared to really go back to basics. Brought our own camping gaz, easy meals, things who could stay outside the fridge, candles. But we were really suprised. The yurt is quite equipped!

The yurt was everything we could have hoped for. The absence of any modern conveniences meant that we could just "be". Our whole family had a fantastic time and the kids definitely want to come back. Nearly every day, we went for a swim in the river or the gorges near by. Nature has never felt closer. Thank you Kiet and Sandra for showing us a different way of life. It is truly wonderful!

What an unforgettable experience... I stayed at the yurt with my girlfriend for a few nights and we fell in love with the place. The region and immediate surroundings are absolutely stunning and more relaxing than we could have ever imagined. It was a real privilege to stay in such a unique location spending hours just admiring the views. The yurt provided all the comfort we needed and was the most charming place we'd ever stayed in. We left rejuvenated, inspired and were rightly reminded of the importance of simple things. I hope and am sure we will someday return. Kiet and Sandra have built a very special place here and all the hard work and love that went into creating it really shines through. Go, you won’t regret it.
