I am happy to accept first-time Airbnb users (it's a great service that I really believe in, and you have to get started somehow!) Please understand that are you staying in somebody's home, and not a hotel. You will be sharing a common space but have a private bed/bath. Overall, although it is not a hotel, I hope you agree that it ends up being better! You have a much larger space with a full kitchen and easy access to so many neighborhoods including downtown. You will get to experience a totally different side of Nashville than would be offered at a mainstream hotel chain.
Parking is available. There is also a large back yard and a large southern wrap around porch.
Please note: breakfast consist of coffee/juice and your choice of yogurt, muffins or fruit.
Our family has worked in the bed and breakfast industry for years and believe in making our guests feel right at home. We have exchanged houses with families abroad and hosted many international guests, friends/family members during their visits to Nashville. We welcome you ... just as we have welcomed them.
Smoking allowed only on porches. No pets please.
We do have a Schnauzer (Gretal) and a Wired Hair Terrier (Gracie) should you have any dog allergies. Neither shed and are kept well groomed. They both are very friendly and love guests. The girls can be kept away from any guests if necessary. Please include a little about yourself and any specifics so we can accommodate your needs.
Transportation available to/ from Nashville airport for $25 one way. Round trip transportation to/from is $40. Airport cabs are averaging $30+ one way. Please make arrangements with host family while making reservations if airport transportation is needed.
Bike kiosks are throughout the city. Bikes can be rented for a very small fee and the kiosk is a few blocks from house. Biking is a great way to get in and around the city. Cabs range from $6-8 to downtown.
Lisa is an extraordinary host, and her tips made our Nashville weekend one to remember. The house is gorgeous, the room is cosy with a private shower. Breakfast was good, and Lisa's company made it even better. The house is about 25 minutes walk from downtown - a pleasant stroll through the park and farmers market in daytime, a $8 taxi/lyft ride after dark. This might not be the heart of town, but it's a really good value for your money and a very enjoyable experience.
Hi Lisa. Thank you for such a lovely stay. My mom and I both enjoyed your charming house and the proximity to everything downtown. We used lyft everywhere and your gracious hospitality was truly amazing. You helped us round trip to the airport and a nice guided tour thru city history. Breakfast was simple and just what we wanted. Boiled eggs, fruit, coffee, tea, waters etc. The 10 minutes from downtown attractions was great. We never had a problem getting around. The Gaylord Opry spa was an excellent (website hidden) kings for live blues was awesome too. Thanks again!
Great apartment, great location. Lisa was accommodating and even made New Years reservations for us. She included many small touches that made the stay even better than expected.
Wow, what a great experience we had with our stay with Lisa. Lisa was very warm and friendly, and her home was super nice and comfortable. Lisa was a tremendous help to us and even showed us how to use a transportation app on our phone to help us get around. We would definately stay with Lisa again on our return trip to Nashville. I would highly recommend Lisa's place to anyone visiting Nashville.
We had a lovely stay in Nashville thanks to Lisa's generous hospitality. The house was beautiful, in close proximity to all the city's amenities, and Lisa was friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this location for a nice stay in the city.
I just returned from my stay at Lisa's. It really could not have been better! Great location just outside of downtown! We used the nearby bike share as our main means of transportation. The house is clean and impeccably decorated! Lisa was the most gracious of hostesses! Truly a wonderful inaugural trip to music city!
We enjoyed our comfortable stay in Nashville. Lisa was an excellent host and a person we truly enjoyed meeting. She was helpful and interesting. The room and house is very clean. Lisa offers a light breakfast to start off the day!
We would return to Lisa's if we were to find ourselves traveling to the Nashville area!
