You'll love this beautiful, private studio on the 3rd floor of a historic home on Providence's East Side! Bright, comfortable, spacious and cozy, it has all the amenities you need for your stay--private, keyless entry; fast WiFi; street parking and more.

Located in walking distance to Brown, RISD, the Amtrak train, and Prospect Park. Day trip (<1 hr. drive/train) to beaches, Boston, and so much more. See our guide (updated post-COVID) for further details.

The space
***Quiet, small, well-behaved dogs are welcome! Sorry, we cannot host cats. We must approve all pets before arrival, and charge a $50 pet cleaning fee. See below for further detail.***

The studio is located on the top floor of a historic house, with original floors and tons of character. Please note that there are steep, narrow steps to get up to the third floor. We are more than happy to help with your luggage, but we do not suggest the studio for any people or dogs with limited mobility. We can safely store bulky items (like bikes) that may be tricky to get up the narrow stairwell.

Guests have a private entrance and private stairwell up to the third floor, which enters straight into the studio. The studio is an open space that takes up the entire 3rd floor of our home.

In the kitchenette, you'll find everything you need for quick meals, takeout, and drinks- brew a cup of coffee or tea, cook a simple meal on the hot plate or smart cooker, heat up leftovers in the microwave, and keep your beverages cold in the small fridge.

Your quiet, small and well-behaved dogs are welcome! Please let us know the breed, age and weight of your dog before you arrive; we must approve any pet that stays in the studio prior to your arrival. We charge a $50 fee for pets, and in some instances may request an increased pet fee. Also, please note there is a small dog that lives on the premises in the house below the studio- Max is an 8-year-old dachshund-beagle mix, and he is friendly, quiet, and sweet.

For the warmer months, please note that the AC is located in the bedroom/living area and you may need to keep its door ajar to cool the rest of the unit. There will also be fans available to make the other areas more comfortable.

The studio is located in a family neighborhood- no parties, please. Quiet hours after 10:00pm.

****Free street parking is available to guests, but requires a parking pass, which we provide. Note- street parking is not available during city-declared snow emergencies which happen without warning****

My husband, Bryant, and I met in Providence over a decade ago in grad school. We moved for various jobs and adventures, but in 2019 made our way back to this great little city- now with our dog, Max. During the summer you'll usually find us biking along the coast, reading on the beach, or drinking a cocktail at a restaurant in town. We love being Airbnb hosts to share everything we've learned about Providence and the great Ocean State with our guests!
