Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
A true residential oasis. Safe walking neighborhood and great location. Adjacent to Winthrop University and its sports facilities. Close to downtown restaraunts.

The space
Peaceful retreat with covered porch, covered living spaces including dining area, outdoor bedroom, and a wood burning fireplace. In addition, you are just a few steps away from a saltwater pool (Pool is not always heated-as it can be pretty pricey) Note: there is no lifeguard. Guests assume ALL liability. And a hot tub for use in the fall/winter months. There are tranquil water features, a gas fire pit, an outdoor theatre (upon request), flower gardens, and a seasonal vegetable & herb garden. The space is a separate structure from the main house and has a private resort feel, although you’re only moments away from the downtown area. The outdoor space is there for you to enjoy but not 100% private and not exclusively part of the rental.
Side note: Only on special/rare occasions the kitchen could be shared, however I will always notify you and work around you if I need access to something in the kitchen. At all times, the outdoor area could be shared with owners and family.
Also, please understand, all amenities are not included in your nightly cost. Examples are Firewood, outdoor theater, hot tub, heated poo and gas fire pit. As I am more than happy to provide these for you, There is an additional cost for me that I must pass on. So it can be important to communicate with me what your needs and expectations are. We do not keep the gas stove on unless you are here for a longer stay or made prior arrangements. We will work with you and do everything I can to make your stay memorable!

This space is a separate structure from the main house. But shares the same property. Private access to the guest house. Shared driveway with owners. Driveway can be a little tight but totally easy to access and I always work with my guests to accommodate their needs. Guests are welcome to enjoy the property or take a short walk to Winthrop Lake, with its many athletic and recreational facilities. An 18 hole disc golf course, that has been the site of the US and World Disc Golf Championship is less than a half mile away. A one mile loop surrounding the lake is one of five miles of walking and bike trails that criss-cross the complex and conveniently connect to Rock Hills public trails.

Other things to note
Hi! If you’re looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing getaway, this is perfect! But please … no visitors or additional guests are allowed unless approved prior to reservation. No smoking! No pets unless it’s a service dog that has prior approval as well. Or has been approved by me. No glass around the pool area. I personally don’t like throwing a lot of rules (no this. No that.) out there because I want people to relax and enjoy. But of course, have found… with out rules… this relaxing space will get trashed and i would no longer be able to share it.
